•˖* ℘THE BEST FRIENDS WERE HEADING back towards camp, talking about almost anything and everything, even if they had already discussed it. Sometimes they would walk in utter silence, that's the thing with Ziggy and Kim, they enjoyed each other's company no matter what. Currently, it was silent, no words coming out of their mouths until Kimberly spoke up. "I can't believe that douche took my bow and arrows."
"I'm still trying to get over the fact I was almost burnt alive but that's terrible too." Ziggy sighed, kicking a rock that was in her path.
They looked at each other and smiled until they burst out laughing. "You're right, I'm sorry, that's not important right now, what is important is that you're okay."
"I'm fine, it tingles a bit but I think it's supposed to do that. I've never really been burnt before so I wouldn't know but." Ziggy stopped to wipe the blood dripping from her nose.
"Still bleeding huh—"
"Hey!" They heard a masculine voice from behind them and they turned around to see Mike and Nick jogging up to them.
Ziggy kept walking while Kim stopped, rolling her eyes.
"What are you, obsessed with us?" She continued to walk away.
Nick walked up to Ziggy, touching her arm "Have Nurse Lane check that burn out."
"Nah, she's gonna leave it to get infected and die" Said the Wallis girl.
"We don't get a thank you?" Mike asked, holding his arms out.
The girls turned around, an astonished look upon both of their faces.
"Oh! I'm sorry, we forgot!" Ziggy shook her head. "Thank you, Kings of Sunnyvale, future police Chief Nick Goode and future Mayor of Sunnyvale Michael Tepper, for rescuing poor, helpless Shadysider me!"
"Oh, I know." Kim perked up "She'll just bat her eyes at you like all the other dumbass girls."
The pair walked backwards and away from the boys, back into camp, with their middle fingers raised high in the air. The two Sunnyvalers smirked too each other.
"They're quite the lot aren't they." Mike said.
"That's one way to describe them."
THE GIRLS WALKED PAST OLDER campers giving out shirts for the upcoming colour war that's taking place. "Blue is for beautiful, if you live in Shadyside. Red is for radiance, if you live in Sunnyvale!" Joan exclaimed enthusiastically, handing out blue shirts "Despite our differences, we're all perfect!" She threw two shirts towards the duo and they caught them in surprise. "Even you Ziggy Berman and Kimberly Wallis!" They rolled their eyes and continued walking, Kim found a wooden post and left her shirt on there.
