A girl with brown hair was standing on a roof of a building. "Why am I alive and why am I like so far away from everybody?" She said as a man walked up to her. "I don't know but I do know that you are a brave young woman and you are afraid that you might be hurt. But I will never hurt you ever."the man says.
" Jack please let me be!" " why Glory when you know in your heart that we belong together. Gwen sees it she tells me everyday that you are confused with your feelings towards me."
"Look Jack at the stars they are stories that are over." Glory says with a tear running down her cheek. Jack wipes it away as he says "your story will never end Glory you are a beautiful girl who should not have to worry about a thing. Your safe. Always as long as you know me I'll always be there for you,okay?" Glory now turns to look at Jack. Who was a little taller then her with blue kind eyes,that were soft. He had brown hair like her and a loving smile on. He wore a dark blue collared shirt (the same one when they first met), tan spenders on that was hooked onto a pair of khakis colored trousers with a dark brown belt. He also wore a dark blue ww2 army coat. (Which in Glory's opinion was sexy)
Glory felt a pain in the back of her head and collapsed to the ground. Jack In a hurry bent down to her and picked her up bridle style and ran while dodging bullets. He thought in his mind as he ran "I can save her, I will save her!" As he neared a black Range Rover SUV he opened the door to the back laying Glory down kissing her forehead before closing the door and getting in the front seat driving fast he called Owen.
~Jack's Prospective~
" Owen get your med table ready Glory just got shot in the head and I can't lose her and you know that!" Jack yelled into his phone looking back at Glory who was laying dead in the back. "Jack she'd be dead by the time she gets here how is she going to survive that kind of wound?" Owen screamed at him from the Torchwood hub's little medical treatment room. "Not if I can help it get a blood transfusion ready! Now and don't you dare argue with me right now I'm pissed off." Jack yells back then hangs up. He looks a Glory again before making another call. "Andy I need you to give Torchwood permission to run red lights and to speed way past the limit." "Well Jack considering the fact that you did both before calling me a guess I'll have to but explain now!" A young blonde haired man says into his phone at the Cardiff police station. "Look let's just say Glory got shot." Jack says as calmly as he can.
"Then why don't you just bring her to a hospital?" "Because she got shot in the head that way!" Jack yells braking down to tears he was trying to keep back. " look I'm almost there so good goodbye" he stumbled and hung up. A man in a suite was waiting in the garage waiting for Jack. When he saw the car he yelled "he's back guys!" Jack jumped out the car without turning the car off. He yanked opened the back door grabbed Glory once again in bridle style and ran past the man and two girls who ran up the man when he shouted. "Turn the car off Ianto!" Jack yelped as he continued to run. Jack ran into a lift and pressed down a couple of times. When the lift stop and opened there was a giant gear, if Jack wasn't in a rush would wipe it down but just ran though thinking I'll get Ianto to do it.
A man with dark chestnut hair was waiting at a table with a blood transfusion set next to him on another table. "Bloody hell, Jack that is one big wound but how is a blood trans...""ohhhhhhhhhhhhhh but you'd make her immortal think about what the doctor would say when he finds out." The man says realizing what Jack was about to do. " don't worry about my part Owen, just do yours!" Jack says hurriedly laying Glory down. Owen gets to work cleans the wound and taking the bullet out of her head he walks over to a Japanese girl watching crying. "Don't worry Tosh can you just figure out where this came from and who bought it." "Yes" Tosh sniffles taking the bullet tray. "So what are you going to do now?" The man in the suit said looking at Glory laying still face front. "Ianto I am going to transfer my blood into her." Jack said calmly looking at Ianto then to a woman with black hair "Gwen hold him back." He says. She nods with tears in her eyes "Jack please just help her she shouldn't die like that." "I know Gwen I know"jack looks at Glory,bends down and kisses her on the forehead. "Jack you can't and won't do it I'll tell the Doctor." Ianto speaks up finding his voice. "What can I do Ianto, just let her die like that you know that if I did the Doctor would beat the shit out of me if I don't help her!" Jack cries. "he'll beat you up if you make her immortal you stupid idiot."Ianto points out. "SHUTUP"Jack yells making Gwen jump in fear. "Stop it both of you now with your bikering" Gwen and Owen says at the same time.
"Come on Ianto lets go get something to drink."Gwen says walking him away and out of the hub. "Did you really think he wouldn't say something, Jack?" "No I know he would have problem that's why I told Gwen to hold him back. Now let's her back to life." Jack says as he takes a last look at the spot Gwen and Ianto stood only moments before. How can Ianto see that I shouldn't let me do this it doesn't count up he loved Glory begged me to keep her safe to go and find her???? Jack thought to himself as Owen hooked him and Glory up to the device. "Now how much are we putting in?" Owen asked. "Half" "Half but then you would die" "and come back" Jack completed.
~Owens Prospective~
As I started the process to transfer Jacks blood to Glory's still dead body I couldn't help but notice that Jack was scared like he though it wouldn't work that he'd never see her again. Jack was dying slowly in front of me as half of his blood reached Glory's body I turned it off. And disconnected the tube from Glory and Jack. Jack came back around two minutes later looking sadder then before looking down at her his kisses her forehead,he then stands up and says to give a shout when she wakes "I'll be in my office". And with that he left. I walk over to Glory's left side and sit holding her hand.
~Glorys Prospective~
I felt my blood flowing through my veins I wanted to get up but I couldn't cause at that moment I wasn't alone. A man that I thought I would never see again was kneeling next to me. Where is Jack at. I thought before the man spoke "Glory Smith glad to see you come around." "Now you can't get help I made sure of it myself I sent the Doctor on a wild goose chase." "You won't get away with this." I heard myself saying "the Doctor is not that stupid" I tried to say that Jack would kill him but I couldn't. That was when I realized I was dreaming a flashback. Fuck now what am I going to do. "Helppppppppppp" I started yelling in my head trying to wake myself.
~Owens Prospective~
I was starting to drift of to sleep when it started her heart was beating beating hard and fast. She must be seeing something and she is scared. Not know what to do her heart pulse slowed down to normal. I relaxed and started to fall asleep again. I had a dream a creepy dream. Glory was lying on the floor and there was a man bent over her he was saying "....I sent the doctor on a wild goose chase." Glory looked him square in the face and said "you won't get away with this." "The doctor is not hat stupid" "now that where you are wrong he believed me so um it looks like your dead." The guy said with an evil laugh. He stood and turned around to walk away. But then there was a sound a sound that I recognized as the sound of the TARDIS.
"Vrop whoosh Vrop whoosh" "it can't... how..."The man stuttered. Glory smiled "I told you red coated bitch he isn't stupid!" The man turned back to her pulled her up by the hair and slapped her hard. I could feel the pain on my right cheek as if he had hit me. He then dropped her and continued to talk. "He'll never find you anyway." Then a door to the left flew opened and Jack walked in.
~Glorys Prospective~
There was a door on the left that flew opened and a man ran in with a webbler in his hand pointed at the red coated bitches face. He turned and saw me lying on the floor with my hand on my cheek it still burned where I was hit. He knocked out the red coated bitch. Then he lowered his gun and kneeled before me and said calmly to me in the most beautiful voice in the whole of time and space "Are you okay?" I nodded yes looking in to his piercing blue soft, kind eyes. He then asked "Are you Glory Smith?" Again I nodded my head yes he helped up and yelled "Doctor she in here she okay conscious with a cherry red cheek but fine!" "Oh and by the way Names Captain Jack Harkness." He said looking at me winking causing me to blush. The doctor ran in red face from running I guessed. He came to me and hugged me tight. Whispering in my ear "I was stupid to let you go off by yourself I'm so so sorry Glory." I could tell he was crying for a long time and he was still slipping tears right now. I said "It's okay doctor." I looked at Captain Jack Harkness looking at us and was a little uncomfortable because he had no idea what to do or say. I know it because it was written all over his face. When the doctor pulled away I walked in front of this man who saved my life and hugged him saying "thanks for saving me" then pulled away to look at him he went all red faced and tattered "your um your welcome." He then turned his attention to the red coated bitch and stated "what do we do with him?" I looked at the doctor took Jacks hand and said "RUN". We took off in a run and didn't stop till we were in the TARDIS.
~Owens Prospective~
I watched as Jack pulled Glory up to a standing position and called out "doctor she's in here she's okay conscious with a cherry red cheek but fine." "oh and by the way Names Captain Jack Harkness." Jack said winking causing Glory to blush and made me want to puke. Then a man ran in. He was wearing a blue pinstriped suit with a long trench coat. He looked at Glory and embraced her whispering something into her ear as they left running I realized that this was the day Glory and Jack met. But how did I get in this flashback? I got up and walked over to the man lying unconscious, yep knocked out good. I started walking towards the door Glory, Jack, and the man who came with as the doctor. As I was walking a hand came out of nowhere and started shaking me I then woke with a start.
I woke up to Gwen shaking me. "Owen what happened is she okay? did she wake up?" "Huh no I mean yeah she's fine no didn't wake up yet." "Owen are you okay?" Gwen asked concerned "yesssss,no I don't know""I somehow got into Glory's mind and seen the day she met Jack." "That would make you not okay, Owen! Now go tell Jack that I'm taking over watch and your going home and tell I told you to do so." She tells me pushing me to the door. I walk up and knock "come in Jack says. As I walk in Jack looks up from a picture and hides under his desk before I can see what it was. "Yes?" "Gwen told me to tell you she is taking over watch and she is making me go home to get rest." I say looking at face looking at the face of a man who saved someone he didn't know at the time and fell in love with her over time. "okay, but is Glory going to be fine?" Then after looking at my face he says "Are you all right?" I go " yeh why I um um um well no I'm not she had a flashback of the day she met you and I somehow got into her mind and saw what happened. I was also wondering how did you save someone you didn't know just like that you just looked at her face turned and swung at the guy?" "I looked at her face of terror and her hand on her cheek and I don't know I just swung." He said.
~Jacks Prospective~
As Owen left my office I took out the picture of me and Glory. "I love you Glory" I thought in my head as I put the picture away. I didn't realize that tears had sprung to my eyes. Till Tosh walked in and said "Jack I got the results back...are you okay?" "What do you mean" I asked "well your crying" Tosh replied. "I guess that Glory is a great friend I-I don't want to lose her." I cry. Tosh came round the table, gave me a hug saying "we all will miss her if she dies but maybe this will make you a little happier and a little sadder.""I found out where and who bought the bullets. It-it was that guy in the red coat." "What?" I yelp jumping out of my seat. "Wait why are you freaking out so much?" Tosh asks as she rushes after me down to Glory. "Because when I first met Glory I saved her from the same guy who who shot shot her." "Oh god,okay nobody panic, oh god, oh god." I scream basically panicking and not calming down. Walking back and forth in front of her bed. I walk over to her grab her hand and I squeezed it calmly saying "Its going to be okay Glory it will be okay!" I turn to Gwen "where's Ianto at?" "At his house, why?" "Get him on the phone now" I yell freaking out. Owen runs in puffing out of breath "I just realized why she had that flashback." "Yes the same guy shot her" Tosh says out loud from the corner she was in softly crying.
