Ran Takahashi Oneshots

After school 'date'

I just finish watching the olympic and feel sad that Japan can't get through :(
But at the same time i feel so proud of them !!

So here's another story, hope you guys like it XD

'Ring-----' the school bell rang indicating that it's recess time. Taking out your packed lunch from your bag, you stood up to make your way to find your friend which is in the class next to yours.

While standing up, you felt that something was stopping your chair from moving. You turn your head to see what it was, and it turns out to be someone. And of course, that someone just had to be your crush, Ran. You blushed so hard that you can feel the heat rushing to your face. Busy hiding your face, you didn't realize that Ran was slightly smiling at your cute state.

"Hi" you said shyly. You had the biggest crush on him ever since you watched him played in the court. You've talked to him few times but that's just that."Hi"  he replied with a cheerful one. After a few seconds, you realised that your chair was in his grip. "Oh sorry, didn't see you there!" you apologized. "It's okay, i was the one who sneaked behind you like this" he said.

After a few seconds of awkward silence, you asked "is there anything i can help you?" Ran scratched the back of his head, suddenly feeling shy. "Erm, my sister's birthday is coming up, i wanted to buy her a gift but i didn't know what kind of gift a girl would like. So i was wondering if you could erm help me with it?" he asked, voice getting smaller in the end of his sentence. Although you felt like laughing at his state, you still answered a yes. (of coz you've said yes XD) "Ok cool, so i see you after school? Just the two of us" he said casually. Wait, just the two of you? No one else? Just when you were about to ask him, he wasn't there anymore.

Afterwards, your school time just flies like it needed to be somewhere urgent. The school bell rang, and your heartbeat followed the rhythm of it. Walking out with your friend, you saw Ran waiting at the door. Feeling the heat rising to your face again, you quickly calm yourself down and walk towards him. "Hey" you said softly, grabbing his attention from whatever he's looking at. "Hi" he smiled brightly. "Let's go?" he asked. You smiled nodded.

Both of you walk to a nearby mall. It was a comfortable silence between you two. You looked at him a few times while walking, sometimes even caught him looking back at you. You both reached the mall, you suggested that a girl's gift could start from plushie, so you guys went to a plushie store. Once you entered the store you went on separate ways to find a suitable gift.

Suddenly, you saw a medium sized (favourite animation) plushie. Being a (favourite animation) fan,you couldn't help but squeal at the sight of it. Ran heard it and came to you to see what's going on. "You like this?" he asked and you nodded excitedly. He smiled inwardly as he had never seen you so happy before and he thought that it's cute. "I could buy it for you if you want" he said, offering. "Nonono, it's fine" you said. But Ran didn't listen and just took the plushie off the shelf. One hand holding the gift for his sister and the other holding yours. It was quite a sight actually, seeing a 1.88m guy holding 2 plushies.

He ended buying both of them and the both of you walk home together (him getting you home first of course). It was a comfortable silence once again as you guys just enjoyed each other's company. You might look calm on the outside but on the inside there were butterflies flying around as you thought back what happened in the store. You didn't even realize that you've reached home.

The both of you standing at your gate, awkwardly looking at each other, not knowing what to say. "ouh wait here you go." Ran gave you the plushie that he bought for you. You accepted it and said "So sorry for troubling you, I'll pay you back for sure." He just shake his head, and gave you that smile that you fell for. "It's fine, i bought it for you so you don't need to pay back. Think of it as a thank you gift for accompanying me to buy my sister's gift. Besides, if you miss me, you can just look at it and think of me " He even added a wink in the end. And again, you felt the familiar heat rising to your face again. Not knowing how to respond, you used the plushie to cover your face and mumbled a thanks and bye before running into your house, leaving Ran laughing outside.

The feeling in your stomach just can't seem to stop, you've been smiling from ear to ear thinking about what happened today. You felt your phone vibrated, and saw that it was Ran that texted you.

Ran:
I've really enjoyed today XD

You:
I've enjoyed it as well.

Ran:
Maybe we can... hang around more..?

You can imagine his shy face when he texted this message.

You:
Absolutely, I loved it.

Ran:
Great, have a good rest then. See you tomorrow at school :)

You:
Okay you too, see you tomorrow XD

You put down your phone and laid down on the bed. You just couldn't stop smiling. It was the best day ever for you. You couldn't wait to see him tomorrow at school. You had a good night sleep that day, thinking about wonderful stuffs.

That's all guys, don't know if it's good. Had this story in my head for awhile now, but not sure if it's exactly what i thought. Sorry if there's any grammer mistake and sorry if it's not good :( But still hope you guys enjoyed it XD
