A calm aura was settled over the bed chambers of the Head Mistress. The sound of crackling from a fireplace and light scribbles from a pen softly echoing throughout the room.
The noble woman sat calmly in her large armchair by a desk, reading over her final reports of the day. She fixed her reading glasses slightly down the tip of her nose, as she signed her name on the bottom line of her latest wine shipment order.
With a dab of ink to her large, black-feathered quill she wrote gracefully.
' 𝓐𝓵𝓬𝓲𝓷𝓪 𝓓𝓲𝓶𝓲𝓽𝓻𝓮𝓼𝓬𝓾 '
After signing the final reports, she gathered up all the paperwork, straightening them all on top of each other with a light tap upon her writing desk.
"Finally....All is well.." Alcina hummed with a sigh of relief.
She had been working all day and was relieved to finally be done with all the kerfuffle.
Alcina sets down her eyeglasses and ever so gracefully and got up from her chair, straightening out her back from hours of sitting down. Stretching her arms out in front of her, she let's out a soft yawn.
"Okay~" she breathout. The Lady walks towards the door, bending down through the door frame and out into the hall.
She could never get use to the fact that she was so tall at times. To the fact that she had to bend down, just to get in and out of a door.
She had thought once to get the doors remodeled to fit her height. But soon decided against it as the castle she calls home has way to many of them.
'It isn't as much of a hassle. Though it is quite annoying... Damn these strange side effects!' she thought a moment.
"Hm.. perhaps. I might change my mind."
The misterss walked down the halls leading to a balcony, looming over a grand room with a stairway leading down from it.
She reach her hands upon the railing and leaned in against it, looking about for a certain few individuals. As if on cue, she looked down across the room, following the sounds of the very familiar band of feminine giggles, coming from behind a door below her.
As she watched from afar, her three darling daughters burst through a door laughing as they chase each other through the halls and towards the cellar.
A buzzing in the air, from the swarm of murderous flies hovering them away. They seemed to be playing a game. Tag perhaps.
The Lady chuckled to herself at the sight of the three girls playing.
"Well. They seem to be keeping busy." the Lady smirks.
The misterss loved her daughters very much. They were her whole world. Her last reining bloodline.
Her everything.
Ever since they were brought to life by Mother Miranda, everything in the mistresses life that seem to crush her all at once, all but faded away.
Even through all the blood and sweat-(well... mostly blood)- that she put into raising them, it was worth it. Every second of it.
She couldn't have asked for anything more, then to be the mother her three obedient girls'.
With a small sigh, the lady leaned off the railing and made her way down the steps. She didn't want to interrupt her daughters little game, and decided to go to the Opera Room.
She walked up to the double doors below the balcony, and reached for the handle. Yet suddenly stops when being hit with an instant pang like sense, feeling her heart flutter.
