Krexie Oneshots

F- Falling (literaly)

Words: 823... I know I didn't think i was capable of a somewhat short one hahah.
Summary: Douxie knows the feeling too well but this time it isn't him whose falling. (This is my first time trying angst... uh oh. This is set during ROTT's so here's your warning!)

Douxie's POV
NO! Not him! I will not lose anyone else. I ran as fast as I could towards where I think he is going to land. The sky was covered by a blanket of ash, Bellroc's Titan stood mere meter away. It loomed over the town of Arcadia wreaking havoc on the centre of the universe.

Bellroc cast Krel over the edge. I was already on the ground when I saw him begin to fall hundreds of feet to the ground. Claire tried to catch him with a shadow portal but just caught the slab of volcanic rock he had been stuck too. Krel continued to fall like a shooting star.

Plumiting to the ground was a horrible feeling, I should know. I feel helpless, running as fast as I can I slipped and tumbled to the ground. I looked up and Krel finally hit the ground with a sickening crack.

"NOOO! Nohoo..." I stood up and dragged myself over to where Krel lay on the middle of the road. When I reached him I could see the light begin to leave him. I walked over until I reached his side. I fell to my knees, speechless.

"Krel" I choked out, reaching out to stroke his hair. "I am so sorry" the dam has broken, the warm tears began to flow down my face. They burned as they slid down my cheeks.
Krel began to pixalate and dissolve infront of my eyes. I put my arm around his back and pulled his head to my shoulder. I held him as tight as I could and begged no one in particular to let him stay.

"Ple-please let him stay. It's not his time. I- I need hi-him" I cried between sobs. The rattling of my shoulders increased as I begun to loose my breath with sobs. Crying this mutch hurt my stomach and made me feel ill.

Krel disappeared into his core and left me to hug myself. I heard a sound almost like glass falling onto the ground but not smashing. I felt like I was about to implode. I picked up Krel's glowing core and held it tightly in my hands.

Why did it have to be him? We just got to know each other and I already wanted to be with him. I could hear the Titan collapse behind me but quite frankly I couldn't care less. I felt a cold hand on my shoulder and a a quiet sob.

Startled I looked up and saw Krel's sister, Aja, standing above me. I stood quickly and embraced her tightly, she immediately wrapped her four arms around me tightly in response.

"TOBY!" I heard from behind us, I let go of Aja and turned to find the rest of us searching for Toby.

"No..." I could hear Jim mumble as he walked over to Stuart's taco truck. Oh no. Aja and I walked over to the group, I still clung tightly onto Krel's circular core. By the time we had made our way to the others Jim had discovered the time stone inside the cronosphere.

"I can go back and save them all" Jim turned to properly face the rest of us.

Blinky spoke first, "but we barely made it out this time, master Jim" he said unsure.

"But he could save them all" I spoke quietly looking down at the core in my hands. Jim looked at me sympathetically and begun to say his goodbyes. I felt numb, even when I lost Merlin and Nari I hadn't felt like this. The tears had begun to slow but I fear the pain will never truly leave.

I felt Aja grab one of my hands and held it, she gave it a squeeze as if attempting to comfort me. I squeezed back, I felt awful for her, Krel was her brother and her only true family left. Jim transformed into his new armor designed by Krel, I always admired his designs, they were so... beautiful. The elegant curves and carvings in the armor just added to the magic of the Trollhunters armor.

As Jim began to prepare to turn back time, I brought Krel's core to my lips and kissed it gently, it felt cold on my lips. I felt one last salty tear reach my mouth before Jim dissapeared, the world stopped spinning, and everything went black.

Ok, I'm sitting here and to be honest I don't know how to feel about this one lol. I like to believe that there are just two timelines and the other one still exists but that obviously isn't true hahaha. I hope you lovely people enjoyed and I'll see you in the next one :) bye.
