T- Time Travel (Maybe This Time)

Summary: This story is based after the 'war'? If we had gotten the satisfying ending and the Titans had been destroyed.

Don't ask me if Toby should have lived because I can't decide ;-;

Anyway when Jim goes back in time to give up the amulet, Douxie finds himself brought back to when he finds his friends trapped in ice (Wizards Ep: 10)

A flash of light, then he's gone. Jim simply vanished leaving the mourning to their grief. Should something have changed? Should we still be here, standing together at the end of all things? Well not all things we made sure of that.

He feels light headed, his hand tightens across Krel's shoulders. At least they could be here together, not exactly together that is but closer then he ever though.

Douxie wasn't sure if it is the tears threatening to spill over but he tries in vain to blink away the blurring at the edges of his vision. Was it the smoke sticking to his eyes? Or did he just survive the end of the world without drinking a sip of water.

Feeling weak his knees buckle under his own weight, his hand threatens to slip from Krel's grasp but the Akiridion did not take a peice of it. Without hesitation Krel supported Doux softly to the ground, making sure to support his head when it eventually lulled backwards.

Krels' soft blue glow hung above him, his lips were moving but Douxie could only hear the cotton that must have been stuffed in his ears. Claire and Aja followed suit, their faces blurred at the edges, his mind couldn't distinguish the sharp features but he was fairly sure the forms of blinky and AAARRRGGHH hovered concerned.

"Douxie!?" He heard Krel's voiced, flooded with concern, try to snap his conscience from where it threatened to fall.

"What's happening?" Claire asked puzzled, now also by his side.

Krel and Claire exchanged a few quick words, but all Douxie could focus on was how numb his extremities felt. He tried to tiredly wriggle his fingers but he couldn't feel a thing.

It was as if the exhaustion of the past few days had caught up to him all at once. It was as though he had been hit by a bullet train. With the remainder of the strength that had been sucked from his body he tried to lift his head, it was at this moment that Douxie saw... he had no fingers to wriggle.

His hand and most of his lower body had been engulfed by a green hue that seemed to be making its way up his body, consuming him as it continued.

He let his head drop back to the floor, still supported in Krel's gentle hands. Krel was shaking, he could feel it under his head, looking at the boy he seemed to be silently sobbing. Well silently to Douxie's ears.

Krel was a puzzle that Douxie has yet to solve, he was such a solitary person he had barely gotten to know him. He enjoyed collaborating with him though, finding out what tech is compatible with the effects of magic. Seeing the Akiridion bob his head in time with whatever music he happend to be listening to while tinkering with his newest project. Seeing as he focused on the cords Douxie would play to entertain their friends. Douxie could practically see the cogs turning in his head.

It was adorable. Douxie couldn't dismiss that even if he wanted to. Krel had whole heartedly become the object of Douxies affection. However Krel seemed to be none the wiser, probably thinking he was having a stroke when Douxie would put on a bravado to try out a painfully obvious pick up line. All he would get in response was a confused, "I do not believe in humans concept of the afterlife so no. Also I fell from space and yes it did hurt a little".

Douxie quirked the side of his lips into a smile, at this point he couldn't even feel if he was breathing. He wasn't in any pain, but seeing the streaks of tears on both Krel and Claire's cheeks told him they did.

His voice airy Douxie spoke barely above a whisper, "I'm ok. No pain, I promise" he managed to say a few words before his vision went black.

To say he was thrust would be an understatement, it felt as though his entire body and fallen 100 feet into the ocean and sank another 300 below the surface.

In shock, his eyes jolted open and a gasp of air rushed into his lungs. When Douxies eyed opened he saw Archie on his lap concerned. Bolting up right, Douxie frantically patted his body, making sure every peice of him made the journey.

"Douxie what happened? Tell me" his paws held either side of his face, inspecting any possible damage.

"Something magic, i think" he breathed out.

Then he realised, he shouldn't be seeing his familiar, Archie is sealed 1000's of miles away.

Douxie immediately lunched forwards, "Archie! Oh bless Merlin you're here. I thought I'd never see you again" his throat started to burn with unshed tears.

"Hm something magic indeed. But we can't let anything interf- wait did you say never see me again?" His familiar sounded just a tweed bit alarmed.

"Wait, where are we. What's happening?" Douxie looked at his surroundings and realized he was hovering 20 feet in the sky.
"Archie what were we doing?"

With a puzzled and concerned face the dragon spoke, "we just entered Arcadia's air space, you got the Genisis Ceals from my father."

"SHIT! We need to hurry!" Douxie jumped to his feet, Archie hurriedly getting off his lap. Douxie rushed to the pilots helm and directed them towards Hex Tech.

"Why? What's going on Douxie?"

"The magic thing. It was some kind of time travel. Im from the future, a few months into the future. To say this is an important day is doing it and injustice" Douxie hastily landed them on the empty street. Empty aside from the debrie of icicles and a few burning trash cans.

The air was foul with the smell of burning plastic, as soon as the aircraft touched the ground, Douzie jumped out beckoning Archie to follow. Krel was inside, alone and scared.
