8:23 pm

Everyone sat in the main class, depressed and losing hope as it'd been a week since Y/n's end.

She went out with Ethan and Lawrence for food when all of a sudden, a hoard of zombies came crashing in from the front of the store.

She'd thrown as much as she was carrying over to them along with a cart for the two to use as a carrier before holding the infected off with a large wooden plank she found not too long ago.

Y/n would've preferred another cart to ram and run them over with, but there was no sign of any nearby, so the plank would have to make due.

She fought ruthlessly.. unfortunately, she didn't make it very long considering how many there'd been until one had bitten her ankle while another had scratched her neck.

Lawrence had to pull Ethan away from throwing himself into further danger that he was willing to do in order to save his one and only lover.

Now, the teens stayed silent most of their days, missing the source of their laughter and joy.

Missing the face Scarlett would make when Y/n would tease her with countless amounts of flirting attempts.

Now the long blonde did nothing but sleep in and cry, even when she denied the tears, it was obvious she was missing her too.

Occasionally, the group would replace the silence with arguing, usually it was Eugene or Scarlett that'd get heated over her death.

That was until one day, Ethan grew tired and angry enough to shout at the hollering group, his voice was much louder than theirs ever was...

He's held in so much agony and frustration ever since her death, he needed a way to let it all out.

Never once in his life did he yell so loud before, he'd even gone as far to the point of tears, leaving the group in shock and fear before he'd stomped past everyone and slammed the door shut behind him with a slam.

That night, everyone had left him their snacks at his door as an apology for getting so heated without thinking about how he felt, considering everyone knew how close the two were...

He went to the meeting late the next day, but chose to ignore his vocals and stick to nodding and shaking his head.

Ever since then, days had gone quieter and quieter the more time went on, even Eugene and Zion had grown sympathetic towards each other.

Currently, Judy was scrolling through clips and clips on her old laptop and camera of her and Y/n.

Y/n was captain of the boys team that year, and Judy was still the manager till the very end of their casual, boring days of school which the young brunette would've made eventful.

Ethan next to his cousin, scrolled through his own memories with the lost corpse.

Specifically all their old texts and stupid voice messages they'd send to one another, even the old pictures and videos they'd take together as they hung out.

Tapping out of the his messages, he stared at his background thoroughly in anguish of her death.

A picture Zion snuck in one early morning, Y/n and him during daily meeting, using one another as head rests as they napped, Y/n's cheek was smushed against his shoulder while Ethan himself had his head rested against her own.

With a sigh, he turned his phone off, only to turn it back on to have a brief peak of his lock screen which was just Y/n taking a horribly unsteady picture, it seemed as if everything in there revolved around her.
