I'm Chie. Chie Hoshinomiya. I'm a teacher at ANHS, where I teach for Class B.
Well, until a few weeks ago.
Recently, they've switched up our assigned classes, based on...mixed performances by a certain teacher.
I am now a teacher for Class D, the lowest class in the school. Now you may be thinking, "Oh no, how will she ever recover?"
Luckily, I have a few aces up my sleeve. Let's list them, shall we?
Sudou Ken, one of the best athletes in the 1st Year. He's a little bit hot-headed, but still gets the job done at sport-related exams.
Koenji Rokusuke, another hotheaded student with good physical ability. His intelligence is high as well but he refuses to use it for some weird reason.
Suzune Horikita, an outstanding student who leads the class with an iron fist. She's at the top at almost everything but falls short sometimes due to her over confidence.
All of these people are good in their own right, but someone in the class stood out to me.
Ayanokouji Kiyotaka.
He's meeker than the others, only really talking to two girls on occasion. Sometimes he gets lumped in with the boys, but otherwise, he's pretty much alone.
Ayanokouji's scores have always been completely average, but about a week ago they skyrocketed.
He's gone from B's and C's to A+'s only. His physical ability has been growing day by day, with his build getting even more impressive the more I see him.
But one thing was a bit weird.
When he did get those crazy results, I saw his overall mental health deteriorate. He seemed to be losing more life in him day by day, talking to his few friends less and less.
It was almost like there was a barrier between him and the world.
Whenever he'd get invited to things he'd spark up in excitement, but when they all eventually canceled on him his smile disappeared.
And as a teacher...I decided to get to the bottom of it.
On that day, 1/20/15...
