Ch 3 : The Sky High

Avni's pov

Morning all .. yehh finally it's a new day of my new college ... And yeh finally I am going to see this town closely you know I have been in this town since 2-3 weeks but Siya didn't allowed me to go out step out of this house ... Whenever I used to ask her to go out she kept on excusing with my health ... I know my welcome in this town was little dizzy hehe you know what I referred to ...

Along with Siya I also bonded with Riya very well she is very sweet but I didn't know why Grandma Akala never talks with me she always act odd around me ... Didn't she like me been here ? But Siya told me she was happy to allow me to stay ...or maybe I am overthinking ...

Let's get ready for college .. but what to wear I don't have much clothes with me ... And neither I joined for a job here yet .. I need to search for it ASAP ... When I was in mussorie I used to work in a cafe there as a waitress that job paid me decent amount but I have to leave that place why ? That is for next time ...

But now what I am gonna wear today is big question ... I have heard many things about Sky high its big college and one of the best one getting admission there is big thing  I would have never done it without Siya I don't how she made it there for me ...

She is so sweet she is always there for me ..

I was just lost in my own world of thoughts when I  heard a sound of bags piling on my bed and there she was my devil about whom I was talking about ..

What is this Siya ? Have you bought whole shopping mall or what ? And did you bought this much clothes ... ?

I shooted her with questions she all of a sudden just dumped a hip of shopping bags on my bed and I don't know what is she upto ...

Siya : hold your horses girl actually there was a sale in the new market so I went to buy clothes for you .. you will need it for college so here and well you know how big shopping freak I am so I buyed lots of them for you and me too ...

Siya  are you serious you spend lots on this there's no need of this ...

Siya : there's a need Avi ... Cause you are my pretty girl and I want to flwant you ..

Siya what are you saying you are gone insane ...

Siya : Avii ... Okay let's see what you will wear today I bought lots of sexy dresses for you ..

I kept on looking at siya ... And avoiding my gazes on her she kept on digging into the pile of clothes  picking a outfit for me ... sometimes I don't understand this girl ...

Siya : yeh I got a pretty dress for you look ...

She showed me a pretty white  maxi dress with brown velvet jacket I liked it she really has a great sense of fashion ..

Siya : Avi you would look fab in this just go and wear it go ...

Looking at her excitement to see me in this dress I shook my head she is so childish sometimes .. I went to my vanity to change into this pretty dress  ...

This white pretty dress is perfectly hugging my slender body well I love this me hehe ...
... Taking the comb I put my hairs in a fishtail braids ... Well I don't like too much of make ups so thought to just use some lip gloss and eyeliner

Finally taking a last look on my looks I went towards Siya who was desperately waiting for me ...

Siya I meekly called her ..

She looked at me and kept on looking at me ..

What happened am I looking bad ? Isn't it suiting me ...

Siya : shhh Avi you are looking damnn georgeous .. you are gonna make some one crawl on his knees today ...

Ewww Siya shut up ...

Siya : okay okay ... No adult talks my little girl let's go have some breakfast and then we will leave for college ..

Taking my bag which was twining with my dress I was about to go out when Siya once again called me ..

Siya : wait Avi I have something for you ...

She dig into her bag to search something ... And after few mins of shuffling she pulled out a beautiful pendant

he pendant was of beautiful ruby with strange carving but it looked very pretty and was having a different shine ... I gasp in surprise why does this girl have to always give me such heart attacks ...

Siya ...

Siya : Avi this is a small best of luck gift from me for your first day and a new start ... So take it I am not hearing a no from you got it ...

I just silently nodded ... Saying no to Siya for anything Is a tough thing ... She immediately put that peace on my neck and seeing me in that her eyes shined ...

This girl is crazy !!!

Siya : okay promise me Avi you won't take this out from your neck ever ...

Hell was it a thing to even say I won't ever ... Many times I think what I even did to get a gem of a friend like her ...

I am soo lucky to have her !!

Pov end

Siya and Avni both came out in the dining area and had there breakfast ..on the diner they only found Riya waiting for them while yet again Akala was nowhere found ..

Siya asked Riya about Akala on which Riya replied she don't know .. all girls ate there breakfast while Siya asked Akalas whereabouts to Riya and got to know she went for some work nodding knowingly what must be the work Siya quitly took her breakfast and started eating while Avni was just looking at both the girls exchanging silent talks which she didn't understood like always ...

After having their breakfast Siya went to the garage to pull her ride ... She picked a Toyota Camry and asked both Avni and Riya to hop in ...

The ride till college was smooth and silent ... Avni was looking out at the beautiful view coming in her sight ..

Adjusting in a new atmosphere was always a difficult task for Avni but she felt a strange comfort at this town ... She herself don't know when she felt like she is home ... Which she never felt for long ... She felt like she knew this town since ages yet it is strange to her ...

After a few mins of ride .. They came across a beautiful premise both the ends of path was covered with big tress some of oak and some cherry  ... She could see students all around ... And there  opened big gates of Sky High ... Just like it's name and its status it was big ... The college building was giving some heritage vibes perfectly carved walls yet having a mordern touch ... Siya stopped her car and asked Avni and Riya to wait for her ....

While siya went to parking Avni looked around the college area it was big and widely spread ... Her eyes were scanning every inch of this college she only heard about it and dreamed to be part of this college but been an orphan she can't it's all thanks to Siya who helped her and got her admission here ...

She was lost in her own world admiring the beauty of the college .. She that she didn't saw someone was passing by and without realising she collided with something or most precisely with someone ...
