Meanwhile, in the large palace of Ninjago city, a bubbly teenage girl decided to try her 5th tactic to get people to forget about her marrage.
Princess Vania showed up in the kitchen, smiling and talking at 50 times a minute, hoping she would annoy people so much, she wouldn't have to marry someone she didn't love, and she was only 16, so she wanted to live life first.
When Vania began to irritate some of the younger cooks, talking about her favorite book series, you know, the one that was written by clutch powers, Nuero had had enough, steering the girl back to her parents who admonished her for being so childish.
"Vania," said queen Edna, "you understand? you have a duty to put this kingdom first! Your father had to do the same thing at your age, and we did grow to love each other. Now you have turned away all eligible princes, and you might never have one to rule alongside you!"
Edna breathed in and out, and then continued more calmly. "However, we have decided to host a grand ball, in which all young men may have a chance to seek your hand."
Vania sunk into the floor, it's not that she never wanted to get married, but she wanted to wait, and when she did, marry someone whom she truly loved, and who loved her!
However, all was no longer quiet when a tiny exighted boy ran in, with many people in pursuit. The boy rushed at the group, giggling and bowling Vania over.
Vania couldn't help laughing to see her little brother so happy. "Hi Jay!" Said the smiling princess, and a warmth came over her when the seven yr old said. "I love you so much Vania!"
Now, the other people in the room were getting angry, so Vania used this excuse to leave with her little brother.
Vania watched Jay play with the sparks, she sighed, Jay had recently discovered he was an elemental master, and Vania was worried about him.
But putting that thought into the back of her mind, the young girl fumbled through her room, picking out a dress it did not look like a princess would wear, and set off, Jay following close behind her, he had been outside the palace even less than her, and the two snuck out to see what was beyond the palace walls.
