Chapter III: Suspicious secrets

I ran out the door and along the path, I was nearly there. I walked through the double doors of the music block. Musical notes covered the wall, all lengths were different colours . It was beautiful, But I was going to be late. I ran up the stairs. I walked past all the doors E19, E19 I kept repeating in my head as I didn't have the best memory to say the least. Then I saw a door that read E19 I pushed open the door and tried to sneak in without being noticed but just as I was making it to my row, she spotted me.

"Madeline, your 8 minutes late," Miss Sonika my Music teacher said.

" Sorry I got lost," I said sitting down. She sighed and tutted but then went back to teaching. After an hour of hell, I mean music the bell ran. I walked out of the classroom and checked my watch, 5 minutes till I will be meeting Moon. I saw Sky and ran through the corridor to her.

"Hey girl," she said

"Hi, I'm meeting Moon behind the school going to need back up," I said.

"I'm in," she replied. I smiled this was going to be 'fun'.

We walked to our lockers and dumped our bags in them. It was Lunch break so we had lots of time. We walked over to the back of the school where Moon was standing there waiting. "You wanted to meet me," she said.

"Yep," I said.

"What do you know about Cassandra's death," Sky asked.

"Why do you want to know," She asked.

"Answer the question," I said.

"No," she said, "for I know you could have killed her."

I grabbed her  right arm and Sky grabbed her left. We pulled her into the school and threw the corridor towards a room. It was a little box like room we pushed her inside and went in after her. Sky got out a key and locked the door behind us.

"What do you know?" I asked.

"Why do you care?" she said.

"Why do you care?" Sky asked.

"She was my best friend," she said

I laughed, "No she wasn't she spread tons of rumours about you, to be honest she deserved to die."

Sky nodded, "it is true,"

"No one deserves to die, you are both psycho's!" She said.

"so what," I said as I started laughing maniacally. Her face was full of horror and fear. She was so focused on me she didn't see Sky slowly creep up behind her and put her hand over Moon's mouth. "Goodnight Moon, shame you never found out who killed Cassandra. Then Sky's teeth sunk deep into Moons neck.

Her lifeless body fell to  the ground with a thud. I gave a small chuckle, "Why did you want to kill her?" Sky asked.

"She was suspicious of me," I replied, "Let's feast."

I sunk my fangs into her neck and started to drink, Sky did the same. Once we were full we left the body and ran to the bathroom to clean ourselves up. We washed the blood off our faces. We had learned you couldn't be a messy eater or you would get executed.

When we were clean we headed to the tree at the far right of the campus. We couldn't really eat human food, last time I had it I was sick for two days. When we got there we sat down and talked for a bit. Gossiping about students, laughing. Before we knew it the bell had rung. It was next period, great. As we made our way to our lockers I wondered who will discover the body.
