"Hi babe, what's wrong?" I asked my girlfriend, Ingrid, as I sat down beside her on the couch.
"You know that my contract with Wolfsbrug ends this season, right?" she said and sounded nervous.
"Yeah, but Wolfsburg said they will make a new contract, right?" I asked her.
"I know they did," she answered.
"Why are you sad then?" I asked her.
"Babe, I'm not going to be playing for Wolfsburg next season" She answered and then I saw some tears in her eyes.
I went silent
"Please say something, baby" she begged me.
I looked into her eyes and began to cry too
"What club are you going to then?" I asked with my shaking voice.
"Barcelona," she answered.
When she said that, I began to cry even more. I could not believe that she is going to another country.
"It's just always been a dream-"
I stopped her
"Babe, I know it's always been your dream, but I just wished you had told me and we could talk about it" I said honestly.
"I'm sorry" she replied and began to cry more.
I took her in my arms and whispered-
"I will always support you no matter what".
She then sat up again.
"So you are not mad?" she asked.
"I could not ever be mad at you for living your biggest dream. I know how much your want this. We can facetime everyday and visit each other, okay" I said.
She nodded and kissed me
"I Love You" she whispered against my lips.

Some weeks later:
Today it's the last night that Ingrid and I have together, because she has to go to Barcelona tomorrow.
So I have planned to take her out on a date and just enjoy the last night together.
I woke up with Ingrid in my arms.
I looked at her and thought about how much I'm gonna miss her.
She is going to Barcelona and I am going to The Olympics soon, since I play for Sweden.
Of course I'm excited to be at the Olympics, but I'm gonna miss Ingrid so much!..

"Ready to go, baby?" I asked Ingrid.
"What do you mean?" she replied, since i have not said to her that we are going out.
I took my arms around her from behind.
"We are going out for dinner, since it's our last night together" I said.
She turned around in my arms and kissed me
"Thank you. You are the best girlfriend I had!" Ingrid said.
