Today it's my first day training with my new club FC Barcelona. I'm very excited to see my new teammates and just to find out what Barcelona is all about

I was in my apartment, getting ready for the training. Then my manager sent me a text about who my new teammates were. I obviously know some of them, but a few of them aren't familiar.

I looked at them and thought that there were many good players like Mapi Leon, Jenni Hermoso, Lieke Martens and Alexia...

You could say that I know Alexia.

Very well, actually...

Alexia and I used to be best friends. You can say that we were inseparable. When you see Alexia, you will always know that I was around and vice versa. Alexia and I were kinda like friends with benefits. I secretly was in love with her and I'd also had a little idea that she was secretly in love with me. I think the reason we weren't together was because we're both not the best to talk about our feelings.

Someday Alexia just left without saying anything. We had planned a movie night together, so I drove over to her house and knocked on the door, but she didn't open the door. I then looked inside the window and saw that the whole house was empty. I then got inside my car again and tried to call Alexia many times, but she didn't answer any of my calls. She didn't even text me back, even if I could see she saw my many messages. One day I stopped calling and texting, not wanting to waste time on her anymore...

Well, this day is gonna be very interesting. I hope I don't snap at her or she will snap at me. We are both very stubborn!

I just hope I can get an answer from her for why she left.

Now let's start this long day.

I then stepped into what now is my home. I looked at it and thought that this is what I have worked for.

The team knew that there would be a new player, but they didn't know that it would be me.

I had to talk with our coach before he would welcome me to the team.

It was just a small meeting, where we talked about the contract and the players that I would be playing with.

"Are you ready to meet your new teammates?" The coach asked.

"As ready as I can be" I answered with a smile.

The coach followed me to the locker room, where I could change into the Barcelona gear before training started.

The coach knocked on the door and opened the door to the locker room.

I could hear outside the room that there was loud music and that they turned the volume down.

Then I stood there and looked at my new teammates, beside my new coach.

Damn, this is awkward!..

"This is your new teammate, Y/n Y/l" the coach said and broke the silence.

"Make sure that she is feeling welcome here" the coach added and then left, but not before he showed me where I was sitting.

Of course I had to sit beside the one and only Alexia Putellas.

Could this day get worse...

I changed fast into the kit, not wanting to interrupt someone's conversion.
