After speaking to Naruto, Koin left, going for a walk through the village hoping to get his mind off of everything that was happening.

After walking for a couple of hours, Koin looked up to see it was already dark. "How long was I walking?" he asked himself but he didn't have the answer to his own question. Koin kept walking until he saw a black figure walking away. He looked closer and his eyes widened to see it was "Sasuke..."
Koin runs to him "Sasuke!" he calls as he continues running before stopping in front of Sasuke. Sasuke stops walking and turns around to see Koin panting before he looks at him "Koin...what are you doing here?" asked Sasuke. Koin was about to answer when he saw Sasuke had a backpack, he looked at Sasuke, his eyes filled with hurt and betrayal.

"You're going to that snake creep are you?" asked Koin, Sasuke looked at him, he didn't want to say anything but he had no choice but to answer "Yes, I'm going to Orochimaru..." Sasuke answers. Koin didn't say anything else, he couldn't speak, after that question his mouth felt dry if he spoke he knew he would start crying. He felt so many emotions, anger, sadness, pain, but he mostly felt...betrayed, betrayed by the one he loves and cares about.
"I'm sorry Koin, this is what I have to do" said Sasuke turning to leave, before Sasuke could leave Koin grabs his hand, Sasuke turns his head and his eyes widened to see Koin crying.

"Please...don't leave me Sasuke...stay with me...please..." he said through tears, Sasuke turned his head back not wanting to face Koin. "I'm sorry Koin...this is the only way I can get power..." said Sasuke.
"Then let me go with you!" said Koin, almost yelling, Sasuke turns around to him "No! it's too dangerous for you! I don't want you to get hurt!" said Sasuke, also almost yelling "I should be the one saying that!!" Koin yells now with more tears. Sasuke didn't say anything as he hugs him "I don't want you to go through the same path I'm going through" said Sasuke "But I promise I'll come back for you"
Koin went to his pants pocket and pulled out a ring.

"I wanted to wait until we were older but...Sasuke Uchiha, will you marry me?" asked Koin with a sad smile. Sasuke's eyes widen with a blush on his face before he smiles "Of course I'll marry you" Koin smiles again, grabbing Sasuke's hand and puts the ring on his finger.

"This ring will be a mark of our promise, when you come home, we'll get married" said Koin as he kisses Sasuke, Sasuke kisses him back.
