"So today we will be doing a team bonding session that will not only be fun but a full body workout. I had reached out to Kingston Gray. 2 time Olympic gold medalist and 4 time world champion at the 76KG weight class or 160 pounds. She was happy to host us for the day. So we will make a trip over to Kingston's Mats, her gym and have a beginners course. Please dress in active wear. And we will head out in 30." Jill speaks from her spot at the front of the room.

We all nod and leave. Most of us pulling out our phones to google the Olympian. Kingston Gray. The first article to pop up was a sports center article. Titled Kingston Gray retires due to shoulder injury after submission  defeat to Adeline Rotter-Focken.

I read through the article. Her accolades were astonishing. Going international at the age of 17, didn't start wrestling till She was 14.

I was excited to say the least. Watching a few clips of her wrestling.

I dressed quickly in team shorts and a tank top and running shoes before heading down to the lobby.

I meet up with Julie and Crystal "Yo have you seen her wrestling?" Julie questions a little too excited already pulling her phone from her shorts pocket.

"Yeah. I've watched her. She's good." I offer up not wanting them to know my small infatuation with the former wrestler. Will it might not be so small but no one needed to know that.

"She's not just good. She's amazing. Debuting at 17 years olds wrestling people 20 years older then her. Winning most by pins. That isn't good that is. . . I don't even have a word for it."

I just nod. Once the 30 minutes where up all of us file onto the bus to take us to Kingston's gym.

We arrive 20 minutes later and exit the bus, walking into the empty gym.

After bypassing the front desk we walk into the open bay of the warehouse. The floors covered by 9 mats leaving no inch of concrete showing.

Loud Rock music blared through the speakers in each corner of the warehouse as Kingston stood in shorts and a sports bra with no shoes on flying around the mat. She was mimicking an opponent.

She would drop to her knee before springing up and going for her "opponents" legs.

She tries to preform another move that involves hip bridging and rolling to the side before pushing up with your shoulder and flipping the other way. Except she didn't flip the other way more so crumpled to the ground. She sat up and moved around her shoulder. She finally turned around after getting to her feet and noticed us.

She grabs her phone and shuts off the music before throwing on a shirt and walking towards us.

She first walks to Jill. "I'm sorry bout that. Didn't notice ya. Hope I didn't keep y'all waiting to long."

Jill just chuckles before responding. "Don't worry we just got here. I think it did help these women understand what you are gonna make them do today."

She glances around at us. "Don't worry. We ain't gonna do that. You learn that after you qualify for worlds. Or at least that's when I learned it. So first off take off your shoes. You can leave on your sock but I don't recommend since you will slip. Once all your shoes are off we will stretch and then I'll walk you throw some steps. No moves yet just hip flexibility."

We all take off our shoes and place them on the hard rubber flooring behind the mats.  Once all our shoes are off we following Kingston through a series of stretches.

Once completed Kingston stands up. "So everyone grab a knee pad. Put it on your dominant knee. Even if you are in leggings put one on or else you'll rip your leggings. And don't worry all of these are clean." She says before going to her bag and grabbing out a padded knee sleeve. She tucks the top of the sleeve under her underwear that hangs just a little past the hem of her shorts.
