~Aala~
When the second ended, I knew something was wrong. I could sense the presence of more than just the three humans. I sniffed the air. I looked around. Then I spotted some people. In black.
"Well, well, well. If it isn't Prince Sam. How nice to see you at last." The man at the front said. I growled. He didn't even notice the menacing growl from the bushed. He sneered at the Prince. The Prince may be human, but he was acting as though he would protect me, and I couldn't let that slide. I wouldn't allow him to be harmed in this manner.
"*Cough*" The other man with Sam said. He looked the right age to be the prince that Sam was talking about earlier, so I guess that that is why he thinks he can get away with that behavior. Prince's are snotty overall.
"And who might you be?" The man asked, his brow furrowing in confusion.
"Alexander, Prince. Nice to meet you." His posh accent told me that he thought he was high class. I could sense that he thought himself over all other people, even Sam, I guess.
"Isn't this a lucky day. Two princes and a servant!" He shouted with glee. I growled deeper. Sam seemed to sense this or hear it, because his eyes flickered to the bush for an instant. But as before, that instant ended.
"What do you think your looking at, huh? Something to save you? Well, this forrest belongs to us, so you should have thought about that before hunting here. Even that wolf belongs to us." He said matter-of-factly. I highly doubt the fact that he had seen me, just the thought that I would be here might scare him, though.
"Really? Is that so. Well, if that's the case, then what do you plan on doing to the wolf, if there is one?" Sam asked.
"Soup." He stated. His men laughed. I shivered all the way to the bone. Then I saw something. Two men were sneaking up behind the princes and his friend. I growled harder and louder, trying to get their attention. They wouldn't have it, though. They must have thought it was just the wind.
I leapt from the bushes out in front of the men, behind Sam and his friend. The two men looked startled, firstly because I was protecting them, and secondly because I was hiding and not attacking them.
"So there is a wolf. I half thought you were lying." He sneered. I lunged at him in front, but then realised my mistake. Both the princes were pulled back in a net, as well as Sam's friend. I shuddered. He looked at me with a gleam in his eye.
"I think we want this wolf. She seems somewhat smart. Grab her." He said. I couldn't see the hands that grabbed me from underneath. I howled and snatched their hands, biting but that earned me a muzzle thing. I couldn't see what it was. They bound my legs and threw me onto something. It was wooden with a lot of splinters through it.
My black coat was dirty because of the dirt, but the wood tainted it grey, because of dust. I continued to growl as the three other men, Sam and his friends were thrown onto the cart with me. I heard my captureers sneer as they saw me in their cart with the humans.
"What do you intend to do with the wolf, sir, Nathen." One of the men said. There were three of them. One was holding three horses. I growled. I recognised the two bay horses, with the mare hiding from the huge black stallion. She was scared of him, and the bay stallion was her protector, I could tell.
"Sell her. She has wits. Same with the horses. Hitch them to the back of the cart." Nathen said. He glared at me, then at the horses. I shivered. So did the mare. I felt bad for her. I knew what it was like to be scared. I was scared of humans all my life.
I looked at Sam as they hitched his horse to the back of the cart. Sam was sitting just behind me, with handcuffs and a rope around his stomach, attaching him to the cart. The other two were lying on their sides.
I myself was lying painfully on my side. I was chucked into the cart, and it was giving me a brooze. The ropes on my front and back legs were tied together, so if I stood, I would fall back over. My snout was roped together, so that I couldn't bite anything. I shivered. For the first time in my life, I felt trapped and scared.
I didn't know where we were going, but the cart shuddered and started to move. I moved back and crashed into the Prince. He looked down at me with sorry eyes. He knew that it was his fault that I was here. I didn't care. I had to protect him.
Sam's mouth wasn't gagged like the other two, so he could talk. He lifted his roped hands onto my sides. I shuddered as the feeling of human flesh touched me. I didn't even like Candace touching my skin when I was a wolf, so this scared me.
"You'll be alright." He whispered. It was so low that I thought he was reassuring himself, but I realsised that he was looking directly at me as he said that. I stiffened as the cart ran over a bump and I josteld around. I was already sore, but they didn't care.
I growled softly at the men as they looked at me. I didn't have the energy to fight anymore. The two hunts in the morning and being strapped like this had worn me out. I didn't care what happened, only that the pain would sease.
