It had been a few hours..? Maybe 2 at most? We hadn't gotten anywhere but still... Nova had found 3 rocks in her pockets but still...what to do with those?

I looked out into the darkness... then there was the swing...how do you get over THERE?

Gah... one of us might have to jump...

I stood up and walked to the ledge

Nova walked up behind me,

"I know what your thinking...you don't wanna try, this isn't just a playground Kiara, I don't want you to die over my watch, you know?"

I did know, but still. I couldn't get over it, I mean I couldn't just sit here and do nothing.

"Sh*t Nova..? What are we gonna do?" Honestly, I felt like crying,
I had no idea where my brother was, what happened,
or just being stuck in a room with such a nice girl like Nova...
Wait...

"Ah- I-I'm sorry I'm just...a mess," I said running my hand through my hair which now along with being a dark black, had pink roots...like seriously...what the hell?!
I could feel the tears welling up in my eyes...
I felt guilty for having to make nova feel bad for me, she shouldn't have to care for me, someone she just met right?!

"Kiara!" Her voice snapped.
I looked up at her.
"Please, we couldn't be more in the same boat here, I want out of here as soon as possible but it's not worth it to take risks, especially if it could end up with both of us dead ok?"
Her words hit me like a bat.

I am being so selfish...haha, and to someone, I just met too...

"A-ah...I-...I'm so sorry!" I tensed up and covered my face as tears streamed down my cheeks

"Hey, hey, hey! Don't be sorry! None of this is your fault!"

"You're so nice...you shouldn't have to deal with a selfish asshole like me, like...I'm even making you feel bad r-right-"
I was cut off...
Nova had embraced me...

It was so warm and...nice, of course, Jay and I hugged before...but it was nothing like this...

Pleas-

"Don't say that...you and I are going to make it out ok? You'll be able to see your brother I promise..."
I looked up and saw her face...still a warm smile...
Just like my mom...
I hugged her back and held on tight,
"Thank you," I quivered.

We hugged for a good couple of minutes as Nova helped me calm down.

We both let go and started scanning our area for the hundredth time, looking for switches, tools, doors, basically anything we could use to get out of this place. Yet. There was nothing just like the other 99 times we had searched...

Sh*t...

I looked over to Nova, looking just as disappointed as me in our investigation. Then she looked over to the swing,

"I-... I'm going to try and jump," she said looking over to me.

"Wai-wai-wait, if I can't jump that means you can't either!"
She gave a warm expression,
"You have more you need to see here Kiara, more you can see, your 16 for God's sake!"
