I put Kiara to bed and walked out and sat at the counter holding my head up with my elbows holding me up.
I took a beep breath
Ah...what was I gonna do with her, she always got into so much trouble at home...how would she act here?

"Ah, or don't explain anything at all..." I turned my head to see Debby speaking in a sarcastic tone,

"Well, she's my twin sister...apparently she's here too I guess? I'm really just as confused but...she seems tired so I'll let her sleep," I said looking up and yawning.

"Ah...you act like this is normal or something so I didn't know," she said coldly

"Debby, don't start a fight now, we're all in the same right boat now," The green haired boy said.

"It's all fine, she's just worried. I would be too," I said. Debby turned away from us on the couch,

"Ah...green boy...uhm...what's your name by chance?" I asked. Gah...green boy, what a nickname. come to think of it we all had a color...Debby was red, Kiaras pink, I'm cyan...and then there's this green kid.

"I'm Kadin," He said with a smile.

"I'm Jay if you didn't know already haha.."

"Nice to meet you," he said. Gah it was weird not being able to see his eyes,
"You too," I said with a slight smile.

Part of me wanted to ask why he covered his eyes, but i didnt know how sensitive that topic would be so i just left it alone.

I looked down back at the sandwich and things. I was too tired to eat this right now.
I put the sandwich back in the bag then back into the fridge along with the water.
"not hungry after all?" kadin said behind me,

"uh, yeah, just dont feel like eating..." i said as i closed the fridge.
I walked back to my seat at the counter, this really just was some downtime...to think id be so bored after almost dying...
Then there was a knock at the door.
Another person?
Kadin had gotten up and opened the door while me and debby watched from our seats.

It was girl with black hair just like the rest of us, but she had orange roots, and well, uh highlights? I didnt know much about hair. Maybe they were just called streaks? Half was tied up in two buns on each side while the rest flowed down. She also had a long sleeve that had a collar that went all around her neck sort of like my jacket, there were little dimaond shapes cut into the sleeves around her elbows. And to top it all off the torso area was orange, well sorta? Im really bad at explaining things.

Kadin lifted his device to her forehead.

"State your name foe!" he said

Panicked the girl raised her arms as if he were holding a gun to her head...which he obviosly wasn't.

"m-my name is Vee," She mumbled.

"ah, Vee! Well Vee you see this is well- look at it for a second would you?" he said nodding toward his device.

"huh-?" she said surprised before looking down at it,

"you see there is no handle, or anything that a bullet could possible come out of here," he said lowering it with a smirk,

"a-ah-" her face turned red having being tricked so easily. Did she really think that thing was going to shoot her? Well then again his appearance really does fool you.

"come in," he said moving out of the way and motioning her in.

"th-thank you," she said walking in. She looked at me and debby.

Kadin stepped up behind her, "ah i doubt youve met these two, this is jay,"he said as he pointed to me,"this is Debby," he said readjusting the point of his hand to the couch," and im kadin!" he ended with a pat on her shoulder.

"w-well hi..."she said timidly not looking at any of us"

"hey," I said with a small wave,
"hi," Debby replied after.

She seemed timid.

I decided to leave it be, and got up to look into the other room. Ah...
It was a bathroom, a small one at that. it had a square shower in the right corner, a sink next to it and a toilet in the left corner closest to the door. There wasn't much to explore in there...

Kadin was up showing the new guest around as if he owned the place. I found it a bit funny how much energy he had compared to Vee, who jumped at the slightest sound.
I sat on the opposite side of the couch as debby, knowing full well she didn't like me.

We all sat around until Kiara got up, Vee had eaten a sandwich while Kadin told her about his video game device, and probably how it can't shoot bullets.

I got up after awhile and put my jacket on,

"I'm gonna to go outside," I said walking to the door,

"Your going to get soaked yah know," Debby said.

"Have fun!" Kadin bantered.

"I will," I said opening the door and stepping outside.
I closed the door behind me and looked up at the gray sky.
This was always my favorite kind of weather, I would come out with my headphones and lay on the cement and look at the sky, and just, feel like the world didn't exist and I didn't have responsibility's.

I Leaned against the house and closed my eyes... ah..  so peaceful...

Then I heard a quiet giggle, it came from the side of the house. I felt my heart skip a beat. I slowly stepped in the direction of the front door.

Then I stopped dead in my tracks,

"Heyyy jay~" the voice giggled.

It was the same voice from the room...
