F/n , are you here ?!" my dad shouted as her entered the house .
"Yeah , just in the kitchen . I'm testing out some recipes ." I say as I light my flambé.

Dad walks in and sees the flame and drops to cover . " Look out , every man for themselves !"
I start to laugh uncontrollably. " Cut it out you big baby . It'll die down in a sec." I say as I carefully put the lid onto the pan . "So what did you need ?" I asked .
He looked at me with a grin and held up a new cook book . " It's a new cook book , I saw it and instantly got it for you ." he said happily .
I turned off the stove and ran over to him and embraced him with a massive hug . " Thank you , thank you so much da-." I stopped talking and went numb .
"F/n ? " he called out , he pulled away and saw I was staring at something . He followed my gaze to the television. On it was M/n being interviewed, we go to the living room and turn up the volume .
" This is Shannon Rokerson , and we are here with M/n L/n . She is a world reknown Chef here to do a very entertaining interview . Thanks for being here M/n ." The reporter said with a smile .
M/n nodded and gave a cold gaze and a false smile . " Great to be here ." she said emotionless .
" Well first things first , you are here to promote your new restaurant is that correct?" the reporter asked .
M/n nodded and looked at the camera . " That's right , it just opened and it is now accepting reservations . "
" That seems excitin-" the tv was suddenly shut off by dad .
I turned to look at him " That's a local station ....she's here in the city . Maybe we...can get her to come back ?" I said to him .
He sighed and shook his head . " F/n , she chose to leave . If you go running after her then she is only going to go father away ." Dad explained .
" But I ....I got better right , I am in charge of the kitchen now . I out cook you and every one else , maybe she will see I changed and will change her mind ." I say in a hopeful tone .
Dad sighed and nodded " Well , we won't know until we try ." he said with a smile .
Time skip
Arriving at the bus stop , dad and I get off alone at the stop . Excited to see mom again I quickly move in front of him .
After a few minutes we finally arrive at the restaurant on the other side of the street . Dad goes to cross the street when mom comes out . I grab dad's shirt and pull him back . He turned back to look at me , and then back to look at M/n .
As we both looked at her ,we see she was glaring at us with the same cold and heartless glare . I walked infront of dad and spoke . " Chef , Please come back . I've gotten better , please give me one more chance ." I say loud enough for her to hear .
