Wandering through the graveyard it felt like something was watching me, but I couldn't care less. I kneeled to the tombstone and cried my heart out. I shut my eyes as tight as I could, tears of pain and guilt rolled down my eyes. I opened them expecting this to be a bad dream. Hoping to wake up, pretending none of this happened but I knew that wasn't true. I had seen it happen and I would never be able to unsee it.

My heart skipped a beat as I saw something on the stone. Eyebrows furrowed I walked closer and picked it up. A ring. I ran my finger on the patterns engraved.

Don't think about it! I felt my eyes go glassy as I got sucked into a flashback.

Jessy and I. On the beach. Eating food. Laughing. Talking. I looked over at the ocean. The tide was high. The waves huge. Jessy looked at me and smiled,

"The waves are HUUUUUUUUUGE!" she says

"I know" I laughed.

"I'm going in there"

"NO JESSY! You can't do that YOULL DROWN!"

"Come on Alex. Nothings gonna happen. I'm a professional swimmer. I'll be careful.

"Ok..." I replied"

I watched nervously as she went into the water slowly. A wave crashed into her and she staggered. My breath stopped. WHERE was she? She came up laughing. And then someone knocked her over. Pushed her into the wave. He started laughing manically. "That's what you deserve" He turned around. A scarred face and red eyes.

The same eyes that looked at me now in the graveyard.
