Chapter 23

The blue and red lights were flashing... After seeing the prince on his knees begging almost each and every person tried to assist him as much as possible. After reaching the Royal Medical Center, Jungkook was told to wait outside...

All the features of Taehyung crossed his mind.. His attitude that could make anyone smile... the innocence he showed.. his laugh... the melodious giggles.. his cute boxy smile.. those were the features of the love of his life.. the ones he memorized..

Flashbacks..

When he first met him...

"I didn't introduce myself, Hello my name is Kim Taehyung what's yours?".. the boy smiled.. his lips forming a box..

When he felt his soft lips..

Jungkook crashed his lips on Taehyung's. Taehyung responded quickly liking his touch and kiss..

When he first hurt him...

"Its ok Kookie, I know you didn't mean it" Taehyung said showing his signature boxy smile.

When he first said he loved him..

"No... I do.. love him" Taehyung said feeling awkward but answering truthfully

When he left.. him..

"Jungkook, I can't be with you"

When his heart broke...

"I have a husband, and he is coming here today, so for fvcks sake stop it. I DONT FVCKING LOVE YOU"

When he hurt...

"Isn't he so handsome?" Taehyung said dreamily smiling

When he heard those words...

"When I close my eyes, I see you. When I open my eyes I want to see you. When you are not around, I feel your presence all around me." Taehyung said staring right into Jungkook's eyes

When he.. wanted to leave..

"This is our last kiss Jungkook-ah" He said before pulling Jungkook in a kiss. Jungkook melted to the touch and pulled him closer not wanting to let go

When he got to know... that the only love of his life.. was dying..

"but when I see him...Really Seojoon, when I see Taehyung today...I can't believe that Taehyung doesn't have very much time. But it's nice to know that you guys are with him.... In his last days." Hyungsik said shaking his head

Jungkook just felt like his whole world ended

'Taehyung is dying...'

Present

All these memories laid fresh in his mind.. All of these moments leading to this one.. how pale he looked in my arms.. how he muttered he loved me..

"J..Jungkook-ah" said a sobbing voice

Jungkook got up from the cold floor looking at the person who called out. There standing was Taehyung's mom with The Jeon family.. She ran towards Jungkook pulling him into his embrace..

"My..m..my.. Taehyun..g loves you a l..ot.. Jungkook-ah.. wher..re is he.. they were lying right" she said pulling out from the hug

Jungkook just kept his head down and pulled Taehyung's mom closer. She had given him more love than his parents ever did..

"H..he's strong eomma.. don't worry.. he'll be fine." said Jungkook calming her down.

Soon after the Namjin couple along with Yoongi arrived.. They saw the condition of Jungkook.. Seokjin went near Jungkook and pulled him into his embrace..

"I am so sorry Jungkook-ah, he will make it... You know that right? He's strong.. a lot" Seojin said trying to comfort the crying Jungkook

But that wasn't what he needed.. he needed Jimin, his best friend to tell him this but he was nowhere to be found

"H..hyung where is Jimin?" Jungkook asked looking up to his friends

They all looked guilty and hurt..

"Tell me godammit!" Jungkook shouted

At that moment Hoseok who was silently observing came forward and gave him the letter he had in his hand.

I am so sorry to do this to all of you. I really loved all the years we spent together.. Thank you Jin hyung for always comforting me.. Thanks Joon hyung for all your support.. Thanks Cat hyung for encouraging me.. 

Now lastly kooks I know you're gonna be angry at me for this but I saw you and Tae.. I think you guys must be in the hospital right now.. Funny thing, I knew long before the therapist told you Tae was dying, but I was so selfish that I decided to ignore that to keep you for myself... I loved you too much..

I love you so so much kooks.. Don't worry you won't ever see me again.. But when you see tae make sure to love him forever.. I know he will make it..
