Let Me Heal You

Chapter 5

I walk back along the oak path looking for the sign with an arrow that's labeled The Suburb Of Prime. It's about a five minute walk but eventually I spot the sign.

I hurry down the little path that leads to the entrance of the church.

I push the spruce doors open and step inside, my shoes clack on the tiled floor. There are a couple fountains then multiple rows of pews. I take my place on one of the pews and pray.

Bad had taught me to pray to XD when i was younger, I never really did and we sort of stopped when he found out the whole of The SMP Lands were after him.

His reasoning was, why would XD put this burden upon us? All we want is to be happy.

But here I was praying to the same man who made my father's fate.

I rise from the pew and make my way back to the entrance. My shoes clack on tiles as I walk. A whooshing from behind me makes me turn on my heels.

I turn and there is nothing there.

I turn back around and to exit the building but I'm met with a wall of green fabric. I back up and look at the thing. I look up and see a porcelain mask with the letters XD  carved messily into it. A hood sits avor the things head, a double halo, multiple sets of hands and a set of double wings with ender eyes and ender pearls in them. The green fabric is a robe held together by an ender pearl brooch. The thing is drastically taller than me.

I stare up at it, it stares back at me.

"You summoned me?"It says.

"Did I?" I say genuinely confused.

"You asked for dream XD," It says still looking down at me, "And I am dream XD."

"Oh," I reply still staring up at him, "You don't look like how imagined."

He tips his head to the side.

"What did you think I would look like?" He says.

"Evil," I respond," You look everything but evil."

"Oh."

"Thank you for coming" I say.

"What did you summon me for?"

" It would be rather kind of you to show me what a day of being god of the SMP is like."

"Sure, at least it won't be as boring as it usually is with a guest."

I am surprised he didn't question why I want to come with him. But I guess I've completed phase one of the plan.
