The scene opens with a view of a two story house in a quiet neighborhood in Texas. The camera then focuses on one of the rooms of the second floor and reveals a bedroom with a desk on the right side of the bed. At the desk is two computer monitors as well as a few Pop Figures of videogame characters lined up next to the monitors. The computers are off and there is a sound of a theme song for a tv show of some sort playing from behind the door that leads into the hallway. The door opens up and the sound of the theme plays loud enough for everyone to hear it.
*Television show theme song playing*
The door was opened by a young man in his early twenties with dark brown hair and brown eyes, and he is wearing a pair of glasses, a Samurai Jack t-shirt, black sweatpants, and black shoes. The young man looks at the camera then out into the hallway.
???: I need to talk to someone real quick. Just wait a minute.
???2: Just hurry up! I want to watch the next episode already!
???: You've already seen it a dozen times at least.
???2: It's still a good show!
???: *chuckles* Okay. Just wait a few minutes. This won't take long.
??? close the door then turns back to the camera with a smile on his face.
CorruptedGuardian: Hello, readers. It's been a while since I last saw you guys. You may know me but for those who don't know, I am CorruptedGuardian, the author of this book as well as a few other books on my account. I'm here to explain this story's idea.
CorruptedGuardian: You see recently I have been watching a new anime my friends introduced me to known as Overlord. I know it has been out for a few years now, but I have never seen it so it's new to me.
CorruptedGuardian: *takes a seat in the gaming chair at the desk* I've always like stories here characters go into their favorite games or into another world, so the anime was very interesting to me. But back to this book's idea. I've decided to do a story where an original character named Robert Crane joins Ainz in his quest to take over the New World. More will be explained later in the prologue and the first chapter.
CorruptedGuardian: I also have been rewatching one of my favorite shows from when I was younger called Power Ranger Samurai. I've been rewatching the series since my cousins love power rangers and I have to babysit them when their parents are out, and they always want to watch one of the series from the Power Rangers franchise. Truth be told Power Rangers Samurai is my favorite series in the Power Rangers franchise, so I don't mind watching it but back to the main idea of this book.
CorruptedGuardian: I've notice that there aren't that many Nighlok reader fanfictions on Wattpad, so I decided to make the original character a Nighlok in the world of YGGDRASIL since they could be counted as a monster race. But before someone asks, they won't have a giant form since I can't make it to where the Nighloks fight a giant robot in a medieval-like world. Again, more will be explained in the prologue.
