I felt super guilty after the scary stories where over so I decided to check on Nerris,  when I was at her tent I whispered "hey um you alright?" I heard mumbled sobbing "uhm.. imma come in" I came in and saw her crying into a pillow. I got closer and sat next to her "uhhh.? Sorry" she sits up and slaps me after she lays back down "ow--" she mumbles "I hate you" my heart hurt? Why though..? I felt rejected in a way wait do i- no no no never I blushed at the thought but I just hugged her and got out of her tent

The next day

I went to the mess hall being very tired y,know I stood up all night totally not thinking about what happend and what to do if she never forgives me, definitely not that . I sat next to a kid named Preston  he was alright tbh could've been better I know he's a bully but he's pretty chill,

I can't stop looking at Nerris I mean she looks happy but. My heart beats fast when im with her.. is she killing me?? Or.. do I... Love her?

Nah. She's probably killing me "AHEMM stop looking at you little girlfriend and answer me!" I snap back to reality to see Preston looking at me in pure anger "i-i shh! she's not my girlfriend pres!!" I blushed like crazy "mhmmm. Now answer me !" Preston said in an annoyed tone,"i- uh.. what was the question? " I laughed nervously Preston groaned "nevermind" we both got up and threw our food away.
I was playing DND until I heard a knock on my castle "who goes there!" I got my dice ready to throw but I heard a familiar voice. "I'm sorry for overeating yesterday.." I looked down and saw "Nerris??" She was holding flowers? I went down and opened the door but she was gone and the flowers where just on the ground "oh. I'm too late I guess?" I picked up the flowers and looked at the note
