Chapter 2 ~ A New Friend

~Vic's p.o.v~

There's always new things at our school. But I honestly did NOT think that there would be a girl who likes the bands that I'm into would pop into my life in a school day.

I heard some commotion so I went to go see what it was. I then see the most beautiful girl I've ever seen getting bullied on her first day.

wait. hold on... am I crushing on the new girl?

We start walking towards 1st period. We don't really talk, but I eventually break the silence.

"I know we just started talking and all, but I was wondering. Do you possibly want to hang out this afternoon?" I don't think she's gonna say yes. Was that too soon? Was I too obvious?

"I'd love to!" She smiles, ear to ear.

~Kathryn's p.o.v~

wait. Did Vic just ask me on a date? Or was it just as friends?

We arrive to first period. Vic sits down and I take the desk next to him. I guess nobody sits here...

"Vic. You're late. Again." Mrs. Kalsberg says. "And who is this?" She points towards me.

"This, is kathryn." Vic announces.

"Well, kathryn. Would you like to introduce yourself?"

"Um... sure." I get out of my seat and walk towards the front. I see a couple people examining me, but not like they're attracted to me. "Hi, I'm kathryn. I just moved from colorado, and yeah?"

Vic hops up and walks towards me. "And if I see anyone making fun of her, well let's just say we won't see you for a while. She's pretty chill."

He walks back to his seat, a few of his friends fist bump him on the ways. I follow him from behind.

"Hey kathryn! Come sit with us!" Vic says.

I sit down next to him.

"kathryn, these are Kellin, Tony, Mike, and Jamie. Guys, this is Kathryn," He says.

We exchange hello's.

Kellin comes over and sits next to me.

Is Kellin taken? Because JESUS FUCKING CHRIST THAT MAN IS GORGEOUS.

"Hey, i know we can't really talk but here. Text me later. Maybe we could hang out sometime!" He smiles and hands me a piece of paper. It has his number writen on it.
