STOP (Rafe x reader)

After accidentally meeting my brother John B and Sarah from Charleston. All of us Pogues returned back to the chateau to finally have a good time after all this trouble hoping the police won't find out about John B.

We all sat on the hot tub smoking weed and drinking beer with Pope making very bad raps. We were happy after a very long time. I could see Kiara sneaking glances at Pope and I nudged her shoulder which made her blush.
As Pope left Kie followed him and we all started cheering.

"Really?" I questioned Kie.

"Way to be discreet!" JJ yelled over.

"I leave and this is what happens," John b said.

"Are you blaming us," I pointed at JJ and me.

"Just a little bit."

"You guys are the one that died ok?" JJ said.

"Literally one job JJ and Y/N," Sarah giggled.

"No Pogue-on-Pogue MACKING!"

"One job?" I questioned.

"One job," Sarah said.

"Sarah,one job? Okay,"- JJ said and I tuned their argument out  and went to John B who was standing in front of the tree where we wrote his name with a blowtorch.

He was sniffling and said "it's a cute art project."
"Killed the true though."

"Probably. Yeah." As we both laughed.

"Oops," I said and we both stared at each other.

"I freaking missed you, JB," I said and hugged him. I could feel him crying.

We went back to Sarah and JJ and sat down.

"You should-" JJ started saying but John B interrupted him.

-"wait,wait,wait,wait,wait,wait,wait."

"What," I said standing up.

"What was that?"

"Your chicken?" JJ questioned.

"I heard a car door," John B said.

JJ started clucking like a chicken but John B put a hand on his mouth. Me and Sarah started looking around in worry. The next thing we know John B puts out the fire,grabs mine and Sarah's hand and makes up climb the tree along with JJ. Even after climbing the tree I couldn't see anything and I thought John B was being paranoid until I see Barry and Rafe. My ex-boyfriend Rafe. My first love Rafe.

Barry went inside the chateau and they both had guns. Rafe was looking around pretty sure searching for us.

"Where the hell are you?" I could hear Rafe whisper as he stood literally in front of the tree and we were above his head.

John B looked at me and Sarah with worry in his eyes. One was his sister's first love and one was his girlfriend's brother.

I flinch as Barry breaks glass inside the chateau.

"Yo," Rafe said.

"Anything?"

"No ain't shit in there,bro," Barry said.

Rafe asked again, "No?Nothing?"

"No,nothing,Rafe."

"They were obviously just here based off the smoke," Rafe said pointing at the smoke.

"Yeah,yeah,yeah. Great observation,Boy Scout."

"They are not far,you know," Rafe said.

"Smokey the Bear! Look at you,bro," Barry laughed.

"They gotta be around here somewhere."

"P4L," Barry said looking at the tree and Rafe started laughing like a maniac.

"Well shit."

"So your sister's a Pogue for life, huh Rafe? Now who would've thought?"

As Sarah was sniffling, John B brought his finger to his lips to gesture her to keep quiet.

"And what about your girl man?" Barry questioned.

"What about her?" Rafe's tone changed and he took a step forward towards Barry.

"What would you have done if we found them,huh?"

"You gonna pull the gun on her too?" Barry asked.

I had to put a hand on my mouth to not let the sobs escape. I couldn't believe I loved a monster like him.

Rafe started pacing like crazy before he yelled,
"SHIT!"

"All right,chill" Barry tried to calm Rafe.

The very next second Rafe started shooting at the tree. All of us had to move back in order to not get hit.

"Hey!Whoa!Hey,chill,bro!Rafe!" Barry stopped him with his hand which led the bullet hit the branch right in front of JJ.

That was the last straw. I couldn't take anymore of his bullshit. Without a single thought I jumped down from the tree. John B yelled
"NO Y/N," but it was too late.

Barry and Rafe turned to me.

I took a step forward and said, "you were looking for me right?"

Barry in fear started to pull back Rafe but he was stronger.

"Hey,they are up there," Barry pointed.

"Get down you little shits."

Rafe kept his gun up but not pointing towards me. He was just trying to avoid me all together and I knew it.

John B, JJ and Sarah all jumped down from the tree. Rafe pointed the gun at them but I was quick to move in front of them especially John B.

"Y/N move," Rafe warned me. Even John B tried to move me aside but I gave all my strength to stand my ground.

"If you wanna shoot at them Rafe, you have to go through me first," I said.

Even Barry was scared,it was written all over his face. While Rafe had an unreadable expression.

"You don't have to do this Rafe, pls," Sarah begged.

I took a threatening step forward, "Shoot Rafe, what are you waiting for?"

Y/N STOP," JJ yelled.

I could see Rafe's hand shaking while pointing the gun at me.

"SHOOT ME RAFE,SHOOT ME."

"IF YOU HATE US SO MUCH RAFE, FUCKING SHOOT ME."

"AHHHHHH," I heard Rafe scream and I closed my eyes and a bullet went off deafening our ears.

I was waiting for the blood or pain to hit me but it didn't.

I opened my eyes to see the gun pointing at the sky. Rafe shot the gun in the sky. He dropped the gun and fell on his knees sobbing. The last thing anyone expected me to do,I did.

I ran towards him and hugged him. I could tell he was shocked but he hugged me back tightly as ever. We were both full on sobbing.

"Fuck, I am so sorry Y/N, I am so sorry," Rafe cried.

"Shhh shhh it's okay," as I rubbed his back.

I looked back at the Pogues and they gave me the look that clearly meant I was still in love with Rafe.

Oh fuck me.
