Their abode is no doubt a mansion. The first thing that would satisfy your eyes when you enter is the grand twin staircase explicitly structured with beaming metal bars in a hue of gold paired with a long terracing, blanketed with a deep red carpet.
The candescent chandeliers too were qualitatively distinguished. Diverse art pieces hung gloriously at the beige wall pigmented like a retro.

Hindi rin mahuhuli sa kagandahan ng kalidad ang mga mamahaling banga na maayos na nakahilera ayon sa laki. The overall concept are just too exquisite, enough to make my ukay-ukay flat sandal feel embarrassed from stepping.

Ngunit hindi ko rin naman ito ipagpapalit sa anumang mamahalin. It's value for me where far more greater than it's price. Hindi naman talaga mahalaga kung mamahalin o hindi, ang importante ay ang kasaysayang tinataglay nito para sa magsusuot.

To sum it up, everything were pretty expensive but unlike those fancy movies, they don't have that much of a royalty-like bodyguards lining upfront towards the huge double doors despite the fact that the family's head is a governor. Nevertheless, I still feel too small. Like a dwarf inside a lion's den. Like a kid in a vast forest compared to their house's elavated and wide structure.

Hinila ako ni Tatiana patungo sa hagdanang nasa kanang banda. The stairs were probably 22 steps if I am not mistaken from counting it.

Matapos ang hagdanan ay hindi ko maiwasang mapatingala sa isang may kalakihang family picture. Governor Silvanus with his wife and children. Among their family, ang kilala ko lang talaga is Silas, their father the Governor, Saber and now Tatiana. May dalawa pang lalaki doon sa larawan ngunit hindi ko na saklaw kung sino.

After the family picture are the individual portraits of each sibling. They were all photographed attractively simply touched with their own demeanors.

Hindi ko na masyadong napagmasdan pa ang mga iyon dahil mabilis kaming lumiko patungo sa ibang pasilyo. Sa dulo noon ay may glass door na agad din naming narating.

Doble ang naging gamit nito; nagsilbing palamuti sa paligid at naglilikha ng isang preskong kapaligiran. Sa bandang gitna ay mayroong isang simpleng  mesa at mga upuan. May mga sun lounger din sa tapat ng bar railings.

"Pa."

Kumurap ako mula sa paninitig sa paligid at sinundan ang mga mata ni Tatiana.

Sa pinakadulo ng  terrace nakaupo si Governor Silvanus sa isang lounge. And he's with.. Saber.

Unlike kay Governor ay nakatayo lamang ito habang ang parehong siko ay nakatukod sa railings. With  him is a bottled of water. Gaya kanina'y wala pa rin siyang  damit pang-itaas. Revealing his unblemished fair skin and defined biceps.

Was he tanning himself?

"Halika."

Tatiana's gentle call interrupts me.

How foolish.

Talagang may oras pa akong titigan siya. Sabay kaming lumapit ni Tatiana sa kanila. Nang tuluyang makalapit ay kapansin-pansin na kamukha ni Saber si Governor. Among the siblings he looks more like the one being carbon copied by his father. Ang kanilang pagkakaiba lang ay tuwid ang buhok ni Saber, habang ang ka' Governor ay may kakulotan ng konti gaya ng kay Silas.
