Chapter Ten

Scarlet

Why do guys have to be so lazy? I just asked them to make noodles and the kitchen is already half way destroyed, on top of that we just started cooking 10 minutes away. Ok, I understand that we ALL are lazy but having 3 guys sitting in the middle of a stove and the pot on top of ones head while the others are half sleeping is just absurd. Right now I'm looking at all of them with an 'Are you serious?' Face because we just started cooking! And they are already tired.

"Move your lazy ass off the stove." I tell Johnny that is the one that has the pot on his head, he just groans while taking the pot off his head. "You too." Ten and Doyoung groan while getting off the stove too.

"Ok, this is getting out of control." Yuta and Ten are running around the kitchen with the flour on their hands. And now, the great masterpiece, Hansol and Taeyong trying to cool of a chicken in the microwave. They all stop to look at me with wide eyes when I scream.

"So, I'm going to make a new method. Right now with the person you're standing with you're going to make the dinner, the couple/trio that finishes first is the only one who's going to eat my homemade ice cream." All their eyes widen when they hear this and I smirk.

Grace

This is just awkward. The only thing I can hear is Scarlet's screaming from the kitchen, a rare tingling runs down my spine and I shiver.

"Are you cold?" Mark whispers to me and I blush but still nod my head. Mark gets up and walks out if the living room, huh, was I not supposed to answer that? I felt myself become a bit down but then I saw Mark entering the room with a jacket in his hand, I smile at him. He came closer and wrapped the jacket around my shoulders, I felt a blush creeping in my cheeks but I think the others didn't notice it because of the video game they were playing.

"Thanks." I whispered to him while he finished putting the jacket on me, I don't know if it was just my imagination but I think I saw him blushing. He sat down and I smiled at him, I was about to talk to him but then Scarlet got out of the kitchen with her hair covered in floor, I muffled a laugh.

"Mark, can you do me a favor and go the market near the corner? I really need more ingredients, please." From the corner of my eye I saw Mark nodding and Scarlet smiled, "Thanks, Take Grace with you by the way!"

I was about to protest but then a sound interrupted me, Ice Cream Cake by Red Velvet was playing in the kitchen. "You Got To Be Kidding Me." Scarlet said slowly, her eyebrows furrowed when she heard the guys singing and she entered the kitchen while stomping her feet.

"Well, it looks like we need to get the ingredients fast." Mark giggled and I nodded while smiling at the sound. We got up and Mark told the boys we were going out and they responded with a 'Yeah, alright' and a 'Bye Noona' of Jisung, I smile at him.

"Looks like Jisung already likes you." Mark told me while we walk down the down the street, I smile.

"He's pretty cute if I say myself." I giggle when I see a frown on Mark's face, I look up and smile when I see snow falling.

"It's so pretty." From the corner of my eye I see a little smile on Mark's face and I blush. We turn around the corner and I see the market, well that was pretty short, we enter and I grab one basket.

"So, I remember Scarlet saying that we needed to buy more flour and vegetables." Mark says and I nod, we start looking for the vegetables first and when we finally found all of them we go and look for the floor. "Found it." I show Mark the flour and he smiles in approval. We pay and head out of the market, I start to shiver when it starts to get colder, Mark looks at me worried.

"Are you cold?" Mark giggles when he notice that he repeated the sentence from before. I shake my head and bite my lip, Mark looks at me from the corner of the eye and smirks, "You know that you're very lucky right?" I just frown and respond with a 'Huh?'

"You can spend time with me." He smirks gets bigger when he notices my eyebrows going up.

"Huh! Cocky Bastard." I punch him lightly in the shoulder and he giggles, I look at the sky and smile but my smile start to form into a frown, "This is too cheesy." Mark looks at me lost.

"I mean, it's snowing, we're giggling and walking in calm streets. It looks too much like a part of a movie or book." Mark laughs and i join in. It's just too funny, if something more cheesy happens I'm going to melt, like literally.

The last thing we talked about was school, it left a frown in my face because I had to lie to him. It's not like I was going to tell him 'Hey I escaped school so I'm probably already kicked out' or 'I hate my school and I wanna kill everybody'. Even though every student says the second one when they're bored in class. Yeah, he was probably going to think I was crazy or I was probably going to scare him so I went the easy way and didn't tell him anything.

Mark opened the front door, I gave him a thankful smile and entered the room, my eyes widened at what I saw. Scarlet was running around the living room with a pan in her hands and was cussing at the guys that were the ones running in front of her with scared looks. Scarlet looked at us and her eyes widened while her hand let the pan fall on the floor but instead it hit one of the guys that was resting from the running. A loud scream was heard from all sides of the house and magically all the people were in the living room with worried looks.

"I thought something bad happened." Hansol put his hand in his chest panting and Ten glares at him, "Something bad DID happen, I got hit by a pan in my feet! Aren't you going to say sorry?!" He turned around and glared at Scarlet.

"Nah, you deserved it." Scarlet smiles innocently and I giggle when I see Ten mimicking Scarlet with a loud, annoying voice.

"Hyung. Please stop, my ears hurt because of your screams." Jisung hi-fives Scarlet and they laugh together at Ten annoyed expression.

"Grace, do you want to taste the soup we made?" Johnny looks at me and smiles. I was about to nod but Scarlet went behind his back and started shaking her head furiously and making Xs with her hands.

"Scarlet stop, it wasn't that bad. Right?" Do young does a square smile and Scarlet glares at him, "No, it wasn't bad I just want to take revenge." She smiles innocently and I giggle because I know she's lying.

"I'll try it." I suddenly fell worried when they give me too happy smiles that actually creeped me out. Well it wouldn't be that bad...right?

In the kitchen

"This is great." I swallow the food nervously while all the eyes look at me expectantly. Scarlet smirks and I think she noticed I was lying, but it's not THAT bad, it's just BAD.

"I told you she was going to like it." Ten jumped excitedly with Do young while Johnny stood there nodding his head proudly. Scarlet shakes her head and a mischievous glint appears on her eyes, she suddenly throws Yuta on the table.

"Taste it." Scarlet says and Yuta gulps nervously and looks at me, I shake my head slowly telling him that it's not good. He grabs a spoon and taste it, I see his eyes looking nervously at the spoon and then he gulps it down slowly with a face that looks like he regretted it.

"It really is amazing, the chefs should try this masterpiece." Yuta smiles innocently at the guys and they grab a spoon while walking to the table proodly, each one takes a spoon and I see their eyes slowly widen. Each one of them start running to the bathroom and Scarlet smirks.

"What a little bit of vinegar could do." Scarlet passes us a glass with water and a pill still with the mischievous glint in her eyes, I glare at her and she just smiles innocently.
