Felicity
Liam Payne, I thought to myself. How the hell am I back in the same general area with Liam Payne. I made a promise to myself to never get near him again, let alone move in next door to him. This is an accident, right? I didn't know he lived there-
My thoughts were cut off by the sound of my doorbell being rung twice in a row. Lazily, I stood from the couch and popped my back while walking towards the door. Being cautious, I lifted a small portion of the blinds and sighed when I saw a smiling older woman outside my door.
"Hi," I said awkwardly as I opened the door for the woman.
"Hey! I'm Sabrina James and I live directly across the street!"
Mentally, I punched myself in the face for opening the door for this overly-happy stranger.
"I'm Felicity Grimes," I replied, flashing a fake smile as I shook her hand. "Come in."
"That's quite alright, darling. I just wanted to bring you this meal. I hope you like spaghetti!"
Spaghetti. If there was anything I hated in this world, it was most definitely spaghetti.
"Thank you so much. I actually love spaghetti." God, I sure hoped I was a good actress.
"Alright, enjoy," Sabrina said to me as she began to walk away.
"Before you go," I called out, stopping her in her tracks, "could you tell me where the nearest supermarket is?"
"Of course! Just go straight down that way, take a left, and it'll be right in front of you."
With one last wave, I shut the door and set the spaghetti down onto the small counter near the door. It was already about six thirty, so hopefully it's a twenty-four hour supermarket. Sighing, I stepped into my brown flats and grabbed my large set of keys from the counter.
"Later, Daisy," I called to my dog before stepping out of the front door and locking it behind me.
Why did I park out front? I mentally asked myself. I mean, you've got a huge, two car garage to stick this tiny Ford Focus in, but instead you choose to park it on the street. Nice, Felicity, nice.
Sighing again, for the twentieth time in the last ten minutes, I stepped into my grey sports car and started the engine, quickly taking off down the road.
...
After ten minutes of trying to find the store, I finally made it. It then took me another hour to get everything I needed, but everything was thankfully there. One by one, I set my items onto the counter where the handsome man rang all of the items up.
"Your total is gonna be fifty-eight flat," Niall, as his name-tag read, told me.
Quickly, I reached into my back pocket, grabbed my wallet, and pulled out my credit card, swiping it and then signing my name. "Thank you, have a goo-" I stopped myself when I saw Liam walk through the door, his eyes looking a bit bloodshot. "Does he come here a lot?"
"Yeah," the blonde replied, his tone hushed. "Usually comes at about this time, too. Liam, I think it is."
"You know how much his groceries usually cost?" What the hell am I doing?
"Usually anywhere from thirty to forty dollars depending on the day."
Opening my wallet back up, I pulled out fifty dollars in cash and handed it to Niall. "Don't let him pay please." I smiled once before loading my groceries and heading back out to my car.
