Liam

The walk through the train station went by a lot quicker than usual, the reason behind that being Felicity pulled me, literally pulled me, through the large crowds of people. Occasionally, she'd get shoved back, but it wouldn't phase her; she was too busy admiring the place to notice.

"Slow down," I laughed to her as we finally reached the exit.

She turned to me, sighing in relief. "There were so many people in there."

"We're in Chicago, ba-," I began, immediately shutting my mouth. I knew the old pet names would come back and slap me in the face.

"You're right, we are," Felicity smiled, slowly walking down the sidewalk. "Where to first, Mr. Tour Guide?"

I shook my head, "I prefer Liam, but how about the Willis Tower?"

"Let's go then, Liam. You lead the way."

I smiled, shoving both hands into my pockets. If I'm being honest, I don't know how the hell I am supposed to get anywhere. I know what things are, but I have no clue where they are.

"Ah, right this way," I said, occasionally looking to the sky to make sure I was going the right way. Luckily, the building is the tallest in the city, so I can sometimes see it from the floor.

"May I interest you-" A voice began to say to Felicity and I before I cut it off.

"No thank you," I mumbled, looking to the man who was actually quite scary looking. "That's quite common here," I whispered after turning to Felicity. "You've just gotta say no."

Nodding, Felicity gaped at the sky, or what she could see of it at least.

The two of us walked for about five more minutes before we finally reached the Willis Tower where we would be going up to the Skydeck.

"It's huge," she gasped, looking up and down.

I laughed for a moment, suddenly becoming the childish dick I once was. "That's what she said."

"Liam!" Felicity exclaimed, swatting my arm with her small hand.

We stood for a moment, neither of us moving.

"Are we going in, or not?" Felicity asked, placing her hand on her hip.

"Ladies first," I smiled, knowing that she would never go in first, mainly because she has no clue what the hell she's doing.

"Liam," she begged, dragging out the m in my name.

I sighed exaggeratedly, finally walking towards the door. "Let's go."

Felicity smiled, playfully mocking me, and followed closely behind.

Once inside, it only took about twenty-five minutes to buy our tickets and watch a short film about the tower.

And now, we're waiting for the elevator to fill up.

"I hate elevators," Felicity whispered, leaning into me as we stood in the back corner of the abnormally large elevator. "And why the hell is it so cold in here?"

I laughed, wrapping my arm around her in a friendly manor. "It's always cold in here," I whispered back, my lips brushing over her head. "And what, did you want to walk up more than a hundred floors?"

Felicity sighed, looking up at me. "I don't know, I just really hate these things."

"It'll be worth it when we get up there," I explained. "It's beautiful, but it's even better at night."
