"Can I open my eyes now?"
Hermione felt his arms snake around her middle from behind before resting his chin on her shoulder. He turned his head and pressed his lips against her throat and she bit the inside of her cheek.
"Now."
She gasped and felt his lips turn into a smirk at her reaction.
They were facing a large glass window and through it was a spectacular view: the Eiffel Tower's golden lights gleaming in the starry night and reflecting against the snowy wonderland.
"Paris," she whispered. She used to visit with her mum and dad during the summer holiday, but it had been several years since she's returned.
"Happy Christmas, Hermione," he murmured, giving her middle a light squeeze and a kiss behind her ear.
She turned around in his arms and looked up at him with a warm smile. His silvery eyes shined bright. "Happy Christmas, Draco," she whispered, wrapping her arms around his neck and bringing his lips to hers.
They kissed slowly, savoring the intimacy and warmth enveloped in each other's arms. The stress of the day slowly melting away.
"Mine," he murmured against her lips, his hands moving slowly down her waist to her hips, hooking his thumbs into her trousers' belt loops.
"Yours," she whispered back and he hummed approvingly.
Eventually, Draco gave her a tour and though it wasn't as large as the manor, she was sure they'd only need to utilize an eighth of the entire villa.
After she changed into something more comfortable, her bare feet padded softly against the cold marble floors to find Draco in the sitting room.
Hermione couldn't stop her jaw from dropping.
Next to the Christmas tree the house elves had graciously decorated with Slytherin and Gryffindor colors, was a telly.
Draco was smirking proudly next to it.
"Is that what you were talking to Mr. Weasley about?" she asked, taking a closer look at the ridiculously expensive and large television.
His smirk only grew more profound. "He was excited that I asked him about the proper charms in connecting it to the villa."
"But what were you two laughing about before?" she asked curiously, raising a brow.
He pursed his lips, eyes twinkling mischievously. "I'll keep that to myself for now."
Hermione rolled her eyes with a smile.
Draco walked over to the shining Christmas tree and picked up a thin parcel from beneath it, wrapped to her amusement in Gryffindor red with a golden bow on top.
She was surprised to note he now looked nervous, his eyes flashing from the gift to her. "Here," he said softly, handing her the gift.
She immediately plopped the large bow on top of his head causing a scowl, but she merely stuck her tongue out and finished unwrapping the parcel. Hermione bit at her bottom lip before she opened the velvet black box.
Hermione's lips then parted and her eyes widened at the gorgeous sterling silver bangle. The bangle was an inch in width and had the tiniest green emeralds wrapped around its circumference like vines. She touched it and felt a shiver of Magic spark her fingertips.
"It's beautiful, Draco," she whispered. She looked up and was surprised to see his cheeks were a soft pink, looking at her with such adoration it took her breath away.
