THE HUNGER GAMES - MK UNIVERSE (FINISHED)

CELEBRATION AND RETURN

Right after we got back from the arena, we had the production in our hands, basically. They wanted to interview us, and all but I requested only one thing: some cans of Coke. With ice. And of course, food. I had lots of ramen with pork and chicken meat. Lewis had some wine too.
We went to our bedroom not only to eat and drink a lot, but to get some rest on a real bed.
I even tried some wine, and well... It was really good.

Still, we had to follow the protocol. We were called from Ellie to get to the 14th floor again.
When we reached it, Lenny gave me a pretty golden dress. It fits my new body. Now I was thinner, stronger and more confident. About my hair? I changed it... It was shorter... And it was so soft!
Lewis have done his beard but kept the fake mustache that I adore. He was using a black suit, and made a new tattoo. A chinese symbol... Luck. On his belly.

I have done another tattoo too. Of a crown. On my scruff.

We got inside the celebration with Robin, who was handsome as well with a blue suit. Lewis and I grabbed hands and entered, walking through a golden carpet. Mr. Sanada wasn't there... That's weird. But Mr. Cary-Hiroyuki Tagawa was, along with some winners, like Don Cheadle and Jessica McNamee.
- Congratulations, District 12, for your second win in history. To these brave warriors. To this man who did it all for love. So as she, who volunteered to allow her sister to study at the university. Fernanda Barton and Lewis Tan. Now you will be crowned by two winners... Jessica. Please.

For my surprise, mom and Juju were there, just like the Tan's. They all were so happy and relieved. Lenny, Robin and Ellie were on the front with mom and Julia.
- Congratulations, Fernanda. I knew you would win! - Jessica said. I smiled back.
- I didn't believe I would make it, but I did what I had to do to win.
- Lewis Tan. You are tough! And you have someone to love now. Congratulations. - Don said while he was crowning Lewis.
- Thank you, Mr Cheadle. - He nodded back.
Mr. Cary-Hiroyuki Tagawa grabbed the attention again.

We heard lots of applauses and woo-hoos from people. What Robin said to me gave me creeps, but it didn't have much effect to the relief I was feeling.

It was time to return to District 12. We said goodbye to Ellie and Lenny, and grabbed our train back.

We moved to another house. The yard of the winners of the Hunger Games, where only Robin was living. Now it has two more families-Barton's and Tan's. Mom and Juju are neighbours of Robin and his family. Mr Tan and his wife were living on the front house.

After a month, my period came. I won't be a momma for now. But I picked a third house, so Lewis and I could live together as a couple. We would not get married officially but we would be together now.

For the rest of our lives.

Three months after the Hunger Games ended, the next year was already being planned. The 55th Edition would be a special one, like every 5 editions... Lewis and I weren't giving a fuck about Hunger Games anymore. It's on the past. Lewis was doing his pasta with a yummy sauce of tomatoes for our dinner... and the smell was killing me!
My cellphone started to ring, and it was an unknown number. I decided to answer the phone even if I didn't recognize it.

- Hello?
- Hi, Fernanda Barton.
- Who is this?
- Oh, you don't recognize my voice?
- Stop and tell who's this or I'll hang up.
- Okay. It's Cary-Hiroyuki Tagawa.
- Mr. Tagawa? Why are you calling me?
- Listen up. What you have done in the last Hunger Games... I didn't like it.
- What? Why?
- Because you made me kill mr. Sanada for his choice. The Hunger Games has only one winner and always would have, until you came up.
- What have you done to Hiroyuki Sanada????
- He played russian roulette... Until he got shot.
- You are sick!
- That's the consequence of desobeying me.
- You will do no harm to me, my family nor Lewis... 
- Nope. Your family is safe. Lewis' too... But... Wait until next year.
- What do you mean, Mr. Tagawa? Stop playing games and tell me what do you want.
- Sorry. I have to go take care of business. You know the Capitol. Bye.
He hung up the phone. My face was white. Lewis saw me and started to worry.
- Fer??? Why are you like this????
- I am fucking scared Lewis.
- Why? Who was on the phone?
- Mr. Tagawa.
- What? What he wanted from you?
- He said what Robin said to me that day after we won. About consequences. He didn't like it! He killed mr. Sanada... And he said "wait until next year".
- This is sick... Why?
- I know right? But he controls Panem. The Hunger Games. I have a feeling that he will call us again.
- We won the Hunger Games, Fer!! He can't do that.
- What if he makes a "Special Winner Edition"??? I will be there again. He wants me dead!

- You know I deal with anxiety.

- Hey. Call the therapist after dinner. Let's eat pasta, play something on our retro games... What do you think?

I really wanted to forget this. I had to do lots of therapy and take pills for my anxiety. It sucks. What will I have to do?
