When I wake up I hear a strange sound. I walk up to my window and see a boat in the marsh. That was probably the sound I heard. I used to live in an area where there weren't much boats. There wasn't even water deep enough for a boat. I walk up to the bathroom and use the restroom. I walk back to my room and lay down in bed. I am still a bit tired so I close my eyes again, hoping I fall asleep again. An hour later I wake op my clock says that it is 8:32 am. I walk up to the bathroom wash my face and walk downstairs. I grab some cereal and some milk and make breakfast. My dad walk in. "Hey. Did you sleep well?" "Yes it was okay. Just woke up because of a boat in the marsh. But I need to get used to it and then I probably won't even hear it anymore." "Yes. I am going to the store to get some food and have a look at all te stores they have hear. Do you come with me?" "Yes nice! I am going to eat my breakfast and get dressed so I probably will be done around 9:15 am. Is that okay?" "Yes take your time." "Thank dad."

We walk up to the car. Just when I want to get in I hear a voice saying "Evie wait" I look in front of me and see Riley standing on the other side of the road he looks at me and then walks up to me. "Are you going away?" "Yes I am going to the store with my dad. Why?" " I was hoping you could come because we should go to the poque side today." "Oh yeah I almost forgot. Sorry... I will go with you this afternoon. Is that okay?" "Yes that's okay. See you then!" "Yes bye" I answer.

We walk into the store and get some food. When we walk out of the store there is a woman standing with newspapers. My dad asks if he can have one. The women gives him one he pays and we leave. We pass by a few stores and then walk up to the car. We drive home and when we arrive home my mom is in the garden. She is planting some flowers and giving them water. "Hey mom!" "Hey sweetheart how are you doing? How was the little shopping centre" "It was okay not that big but the important stores are there so actually not bad" "Nice. Can you make a cup of tea for us?" "Yeah sure I guess." "Thanks honey" "But after that I am going to Riley. I promised him I would go have a look at this side of the island" "Yes that is okay." I walk inside and make these cups of tea. I wonder where my brother is, I don't see him here. Maybe he is outside. I drink my cup of tea and bring the other two cups to my parents. "Thanks" "No problem" I answer. I walk over to Riley's house. I see him sitting on the couch. He doesn't see me walking up to the front door. I ring the bell and he opens the door. "Hey! Are we going on an adventure?" I say. "Yes totally! Should we start on the boat?" He asks. "Yeah sure." "Okay let's go then!" We walk up to the boat. After we went through the marsh for a bit we are walking to the poque side of the island. We actually live on the poque side but Riley said there are houses smaller then ours. So we are going to have take a look. It is 5:00 pm. We sit on the beach next to the sea. We're both staring at the see. Then we look at each other. We stare into each other eyes. We're both doubting what to do. He leans in and kisses me. I kissed back. But the all of the sudden I pull back. He looks worried. "Sorry did I do something wrong? "No no no no.... it's just... 3 weeks ago I had a relationship with someone. We broke up because I had to move. It is just too fast for me. It is not about you I promise" "Alright. It is okay. Let's walk home." We walk home. When I am home it is 5:50 pm. I walk up to my mom. "What do we eat?" I ask. I though about getting some pizza. What do you think about that? "Omg yes mom! I love you!"

When we are eating my mom asks me how it was with Riley. "Nice. Just chilled a bit and the showed me the marsh and the other side of the island." "Nice" "And how about you jaxx? Did you went out and took a look at the area?" "Not yet I didn't had time yet" he answers. "Did you already made some friends or at least talked to someone?" "Yes mom! What kind of interrogation is this!?" "Don't talk like that to your mom!" My dad says. "I am going to my room" I say not too loud.

I walk up but some music on and grab my diary. I write so ring about today and tomorrow. Tomorrow I have my first school day. I am going to a poque school. I think that is better then a kook school. I am curious how the people are. Especially to me because I think you can see I don't come out of this area. Not even close. I think it is gonna be alright. We'll see.

I am getting some clothes for tomorrow and put them on my desk. Next to it I put some make-up and my favorite perfume. It is 9:40 pm. I am going downstairs to kiss my mom and dad goodnight. I don't want to go to sleep late because I want to make a fresh start tomorrow.
