3rd person P.O.V

Today was the day...

Hyungwon's trial was today.

He was woken out of bed at the ripe hour of 6 am, to prepare for his trial and get everything he needed ready.

Which of course, wasn't much as he couldn't afford a lawyer in any way. He had practically given up finding evidence to prove his innocence, especially after the confession from Sungseok and Wonmin.

He had his parents bring him in a suit, so he'd look somewhat respectable. Surprisingly, his parents agreed to bring him one.

Hyungwon's P.O.V

My whole body has been shivering all day, not because it was cold, because I am fucking nervous.

I looked at myself in the mirror, fixing the collar of my white button-up under my black suit jacket. Maybe the judge would find me hot, and let me go.

I combed through my hair, styling it with some gel to keep the strays in place. My were shaking due to a cop watching my every move, making it hard to style my hair and not fuck it up.

"Come on kid, we need to start driving to the courtroom. We ain't got all day." The cop complained.

I sighed and took a step back, getting a look at my whole body. I definitely looked like I was preparing for prom, instead I'm possibly going to jail.

I looked at the clock, only two hours left until the trial would start. The ride would be an hour and a half long.

I closed my eyes, gave myself a prayer and left the cell. The cop handcuffed me and escorted me out of the facility, sitting me in a car and then we set off.

The car ride gave me a lot of time to think, the one and a half hours felt like two seconds I still wasn't sure how I wanted to plead, I knew for a fact I was innocent.

But Mr. Yoo's advice appeared back in my mind:

"Plead guilty if you're really innocent, it'll help you in the long run."

No, that's so fucking stupid! Why would I plead guilty if I really didn't do anything?

"Get out kid, we're here." The cop demanded, interrupting my thoughts. I still haven't made a decision on how I wanted to plead.

The cop escorted me inside the courthouse, and brought me to an office room where I'd meet the judge.

"Hello, I'm Judge Lee. Lee Minhyuk, you're Chae Hyungwon. Right?" The man said, reaching out his hand for a handshake.

I nodded. I grabbed his hand and shook it. My body was trembling more than it was earlier.

"Where's the lawyer? I'd like to meet him so we can start preparing. The trial starts in 45 minutes." Judge Lee asked, I looked down at the ground.

"He doesn't have one." The cop answered, still watching me like a cop to make sure I don't escape.

Judge Lee nodded, "Alright, I'd like to start getting the courtroom ready. Mr. Chae, if there's any last minute changes you need to make. I'd suggest you do it now."

I nodded back in response, watching Judge Lee leave the room.

Fuck, I'm so fucked now. I still couldn't decide what I would plead. The irascible cop watching me wasn't helping the situation.

Before I knew it, I was being led out into the courtroom.

I looked at the crowd on one side, my whole family was there. I saw my mom crying on my dad's shoulders, and aunties and uncles giving looks of disappointment.

Even further back, I saw Sungseok and Wonmin. Sungseok was giving me the death glare, and Wonmin playing with the strings on his ripped jeans.

Everyone else was just the group of cops that had raided the party, Yoo Kihyun, and the twelve juries sitting on the other side of the courtroom.

I sighed, as I saw Judge Lee flip pages of his book. The trial had started.

"Chae Hyungwon, you are here because you were discovered to have several packages of heroin and ecstasy in your car which was parked at a party."

"Cops had raided the party, and discovered that everyone else had left. You were found unconscious, which you claimed to Mr. Yoo to be from overconsumption of alcohol."

"As there is currently no evidence of the drugs belonging to someone else, you are being charged with possession of drugs."

"Is there any objections?"

I sweated, looking at the crowd and the jury. My heart rate starting beating like I actually took heroin.

I sighed, looking down at the ground.

"Your honor, there are no objects." I said, I wanted to turn back and look at Sungseok and Wonmin. I didn't want piss them off.

"Okay Mr. Chae, if there are no objections. Let's allow the jury to put in their verdict, and for you to choose how wanna plead." Judge Lee said, nodding at the jury.

"Mr. Chae, how do you plead?" Judge Lee asked, eyes looking straight at me.

I gulped, and looked around me. My mom had stopped crying, but I knew my answer would make her cry again.

I looked back at Wonmin and Sungseok, giving me daggers and then looking at my parents.

I looked back at Judge Lee, and heard Kihyun's advice ring in my head.

The jury had casted their votes, and it was now or never.

"Your Honor, I plead guilty."
