I hated Monday's

I felt the most tired and out of it on Monday's...also I have to go through a crap ton of applications on Monday's for the next year.
And of course I had auditions today for the Nutcracker in December...which was a little over three months away.

I also haven't heard anything from Bucky, Rumlow, or Pierce. I honestly was kind of worried. Mostly about Bucky.

I arrived at six in the morning, my first goal was to make sure each studio was clean and the music was all prepared. I walk back to my office and start typing my audition note pages, I print them out and then move on to applications. With each application there is a video of each dancer. This typically takes me hours to sort through.

About five hours in, my door swings open and causes me to jump. "Sorry. Did I scare ya?" Pepper asks.

"I'm just exhausted. It's okay." I smile.

"Well...I got you coffee!" She hands it to me.

"Your an Angel." I smile and Instantly take a sip.

"Also...." She steps out and comes back in with a large bouquet of mixed flowers. "These were just delivered."

"These are beautiful." I smile as she sets them in front of me. I grab the small card.

'I had an amazing weekend, Sweetheart. Can't wait to see you again.'

I bite my lip and grab my phone. "Thank you Pepper." I nod as she rushes out.

I bite on my nail as I call Steve, expecting him to not answer. "Hey, sweetheart."

God...the way he said that made me melt.

"Can't get enough of me, Huh? Just saw me on Saturday." I chuckle.

"I definitely can't get enough of you. I have a break in ten, do you want to grab lunch?"

"I would, but I'm drowning in applications. Maybe tomorrow?" I chew on my lip.

"Of course, I call you later."

"I'm looking forward to it." I smile as I hang up. I rest my head in my hands and stare at the flowers, "What are you doing to me?" I shake my head.

Around twenty minutes later there was a loud knock on my door, "Come in!" I yell, frustrated as I pause the audition video.

My eyes widen as Steve comes in with a food bag. "Hey...sorry I know your busy. But I thought I'd bring some food to you."

"That's...that's really sweet Steve." I smile. "You in a suit...is pretty nice too." I mutter as I tilt my head. He takes off his coat, giving me a perfect view of his back muscles under his white shirt. I bite my lip as my eyes trail down to his ass.

"You in that low-cut shirt is pretty nice too." He smiles.

I get up and lock my office door, "I really need to watch these auditions. So...sit there." I point at my chair. He does as I say, I open the bag of Chinese food, and hand him some chopsticks. I lay across his lap and press play on the video.

After we finished eating and finished two videos. I stay in his arms with my notes as we watch the third. "See that?" I point. "That was perfect." I then write in my notes again.

"Why didn't you ever become a professional Ballerina?"

"Things happened....But I like being the instructor and owner of my own company." I shrug.

"Can I see you dance sometime?"

I look up at him and think about it. "Uh....Sure...if you come back tonight." I smile and kiss him.

"What time?"

"Anytime...I'll be here for awhile." I reach into my desk drawer and pull out my spare keys, I slip off the back door key and hand it to him. "Studio C." I kiss him again. I hold up my phone between our kiss, "Your gonna be late."

"I don't care." He stands and carries me to my couch. He hovers above me and kisses down my neck. Steve slides his hand under me and starts to unzip my skirt.  His phone begins to ring, but he ignores it. After two more rings, he sits up. "Yeah? Sorry...tell him I'm on my way." He throws his phone down angrily. "Sorry, Sweetheart...I forgot I had an important client."

"It's okay." I smile and stand up, zipping my skirt back up. "Tonight. Studio C."

"I'll be there." He leans down and kisses me, putting on his coat and going for the empty food containers.

"I got it. Get to your client." I open the door for him, "Drive safe." I wave.

Steve turns back one last time and flashes me a smile.
