Jungkook rubbed his sweaty palms on the fabric of his sweats. He squeezed his eyes closed tightly for a moment. He had to do this; it was a clear order from their leader. He took one last breath before he got up and followed Jimin to his room.

Jimin was waiting for him in the hall, leaned against the wall next to Jungkook's bedroom door. He was staring at the ground with his arms crossed over his chest, looking not at all excited about the upcoming conversation.

Jungkook walked woodenly over and reached for the doorknob to enter his room. He sat on his bed near the head of it, subconsciously making room for Jimin to sit. Instead of taking the spot, he stood awkwardly near the foot of his bed. It was as if he were making sure to be close to the door in case he needed a way to escape.

Jungkook twisted his hands in his lap and swallowed. After a terribly long silence it was clear that Jimin wasn't going to say anything so he started. "I-I'm sorry... about the other day. I d-didn't mean to... I'm sure you hated it so... I j-just..." It was all he could choke out, his stupid voice was just cracking the whole time.

There was another excruciatingly long silence. "Sorry I've been avoiding you."

Jimin's voice was more gentle than he thought it would be. Jungkook looked up at him a little surprised by the admission. He was looking away at the ground, though.

Obviously, Jimin had been ignoring him, but to hear it stated so blatantly hurt more for some reason. It wasn't lost on Jungkook that Jimin didn't accept his apology or forgive him.

"I don't want you to avoid me." Jungkook said in a small voice, to his lap, unable to keep his eyes on him any longer.

Jimin had been so cold toward him over the last few days. Now with way the conversation was going, he just knew that Jimin was going to reject him. Jimin wasn't stupid, he had to know about his feeling towards him. After all, he had seen Jungkook kiss the trophy and had already admitted to avoiding him. Why else would Jimin avoid him if it wasn't for that?

Jungkook's throat closed up and he could feel his eyes welling up with tears. He didn't want this. He hadn't meant to make Jimin so uncomfortable, but he couldn't help himself. If only he didn't like Jimin. None of this would have happened.

He squeezed his eyes shut because he couldn't will himself to speak or defend himself. The only thing he could do was wait for the axe to fall. It felt like a death sentence; it hurt so much.

Jimin let out a deep sigh. "I know we like to mess around sometimes, but the other day... that was to far... It can't happen again."

"Okay..." Jungkook responded automatically, but then paused. Mess around? The other day? Wait a minute. He looked up at him. It sounded like Jimin was talking about when they almost kissed on Jimin's bed.

"Wait. What are you talking about? When you were drunk? But you said you didn't remember anything about that night." Jungkook said surprised.

Jimin looked up quickly and they made eye contact. His expression said that he had accidentally given something away without meaning to.

Jungkook stood up. "You lied?"

Jimin backed up a step towards the door. "I-I..."

Jungkook took another step towards him. The words began flooding out of him with no filter. "You remember that day you were drunk! I carried you up here! You wanted me to stay in your room! You ask me to ki..."

Jimin moved forward in a rush, and clamped one hand around the back of his neck and the other over his mouth. "Shhh! You're shouting!" Jimin whispered. His eyebrows were furrowed in distress.
