He closed his eyes and listened to the rain pelting the building. It had only been sprinkling when they had arrived, but now it was so loud it could be heard from inside the studio. Normally they wouldn't have been able to hear it over the music, but the playlist had just ended causing both Jimin and Jungkook to collapse onto the hardwood floors and catch their breath.

It had been overcast all day, which had been tough. It was much easier to pretend to be happy when the sun was out.

Not much had changed recently between himself and Jimin. It was March 14th and it had been 31 days since the kiss. Not that Jungkook was counting... They had successfully maintained their strange and distant relationship over that time, but in order to accomplished it, they had established unspoken 'rules' that they both followed religiously.

They were pretty simple. No hanging out alone, no talking about anything important, and definitely no touching. Theoretically the 'rules' sounded easy to follow, but for Jungkook they felt more like, no smiling, no laughing, and definitely no being happy.

No matter how hard they tried though, occasionally, they found themselves in difficult situations. Whether for work or just by coincidence, they had to speak to each other or sometimes couldn't avoid touching each other.

That was part of the reason Jungkook had wanted to come to the dance studio. He needed to relieve some stress.

The worst of it had been earlier that day.

Jungkook picked at his nails as he silently leaned his head against the wall of one of the corners of the elevator.

Him, two managers, and the rest of BTS were at headquarters and on their way from the 4th floor practice studio to the ground floor in order to shoot some promotional videos for the website. It was probably for their newest album that was coming out in the next couple months, but he hadn't been paying attention to the details when the managers had told everyone what exactly they were doing.

It was hard to care and stay focused on work when he had so many other thoughts occupying his mind. Nevertheless, he got into hair and makeup, and went where he was supposed to go, and did what he was supposed to do, and smiled when he was supposed to smile.

There was a sound and movement around him. He looked around to see what was happening.

The elevator doors had opened on the 3rd floor to accept more riders going down. There was a clattering of greetings from the new passengers as they squeezed into the already almost full elevator. Automatically, he looked around to try and find Jimin to see where he was in order to avoid him.

He couldn't find him right away.

"Excuse me." Someone said as they entered.

"Are you sure we can all fit?" Another person asked as people began shuffling around to make room.

"Of course! Come on." Jin's voice said from the other side.

"I... ugh... wait..." It was Jimin. He was close, but where?

"Ooop, sorry. Excuse me." Another person said.

Jungkook looked straight ahead at the back of the person in front of him. His eyes bulged as they caught on a familiar mole next to the clasp of a delicate silver necklace.

Oh shit! He backed further into the corner of the elevator, stiffening and trying to put space between himself and the person in front of him, whom he now knew was none other than Jimin.

"There's one more. Come on, we can do it! It's only 2 floors." Hobie encouraged everyone cheerfully. He was directly to Jungkook's right up against his shoulder.
