These high school years went by so fast. Andre isn't gay anymore, he is dating Gretchen now. Julie is now a nail artist and works at her mom's spa. Jordan moved back and umm... she's my best friend. I also dated Lee for a tiny bit. Lastly, Hayes. Hayes and I broke up over summer vacation in eighth grade. We lost touch after that.
I walk to my homeroom with Jordan and Julie. We all take a seat next to each other.
"Okay, I'm Mr.Masters. I'm your homeroom teacher. So let's take attendance now."
"Jordan Camina"
"Here!" Jordan shouts.
"Ok, George Fanter?"
"Hallo." He says.
"Lee George."
"YO! HAHA" he says
Lee is an immature freak...
"Benjamin Grier?"
"Here! Call me Hayes please." He says.
Oh great...I have to explain something too...Lemme just say, I broke up with Hayes for Lee and Hayes kinda still likes me...So I think he's in love with me...Fuck.
"Ok sweet, Lia Howard?"
"Here!" I say.
He continues down the list and takes attendance. He lets us talk for a little bit.
"Dude, Hayes keeps looking at you." Jordan says.
"No way!" I say sarcastically.
"That kid's still mad in love with you."
"Yeah." Gretchen agrees with her hand locked in Andre's.
"Ow, Gretch, can you stop squeezing me HAND!?" Andre says.
"Oh, sure!" she says snarky.
Andre and Gretchen haven't been the best for a while now. They only have held hands. No kissing. No hugging.
"Umm, Gretchen, can we talk in private." Andre says.
"Kay." She says.
