Upside Down

Chapter 4

>Hayes POV<

I get home from the park and I get my parents' mail. I shuffle through the envelopes. I see one for me and I open it.

Party at Tyler's tonight 8:00pm.

>8:00pm<

I pull up at Tyler's and walk inside. Gretchen pushes me against the wall and makes out with me. I push her off of me.

"Gretchen, I broke up with you a couple of hours ago. I don't love you." I say.

"Oh, sorry." She says scratching the back of her neck.

I go to the background and the pool is filled with bubbles. I walk around to find Tyler and I bump into someone.

"Watch where you're going dumbass." she says.

I recognize that voice from anywhere. Lia.

"No I won't." I say grinning.

"Oh, it's you."

"So, I broke up with Gretchen."

"Cool."

Lia and I have a conversation for 20 minutes or so. She's still the same, that's what I love.

>Lia's POV<

Lean On blasts in the family room and everyone starts dancing. Hayes and I were dancing. together. I missed him to be honest. Are relationship ended pretty nasty though.

"OKAY, WHO'S READY FOR A SLOW SONG FIND A PARTNER TO DANCE WITH!" The DJ screams.

"Julianne, would you like to dance." Hayes sticks his hand out.

"Of course Benjamin." I take his hand.

I lean my head in his shoulder and we waltz around the room along with the other people.

"I love you Lia." Hayes whispers in my ear.
