Phenex searched for Brandon despretly, he n e e d e d to tell him what had happened. His eyes searched for the dark haird male, a few faces looked at him and waved but Phenex ignored them. Their facial expressions quickly changed from happy to concerned when he did so, "Phenex are you okay? You look ill." His focus went from finding Brandon to the female in front of him, catching his breath he responded. "I'm fine, just looking for Brandon." Phenex stated trying to act as if everything was just peachy with him, until he found Brandon and exploded. "I saw him in Chemistry, I'm sure he's still there." Phenex flashed a friendly smile at the female, a gesture of appreciation. "Thank you." He stated before walking away from the brunette, he knew many people in school and he knew many people knew him, but he had never met that female before. Turning to look back he saw he looking at him, so he waved as did she. Busting a right around the corridor, he had made it into the Chemistry lab. The room was empty, except for one desk that held all of Brandon's book, along with Brandon in the chair. When Phenex came in Brandon must have heard him because his head shot up quickly to examine who had entered, "Woah dude, are you okay?" Brandon asked with a empathetic tone, he hated that tone when it came from anyone. Phenex hated being pitied, it was the one thing he couldn't stand. "We need to talk, like now." Phenex voice was firm, Brandon knew he was serious. Walking over to where Brandon was he sat down next to him, placing his sweaty palms onto the desk. Brandon was eyeing him, he could feel the males chocolate eyes stab his skin. "Take a photo Brandon." Phenex stated, making his eyebrows narrow. He was never rude to his best friend, he wasn't sure where this was coming from. "Sorry dude, but what the fucks wrong with you? Did you just finish running six miles or something?" Brandon questioned, Phenex chuckled at his statement. "No, I was looking for you dingbat." Phenex chuckled, now he was just trying to avoid the conversation all together. He pondered for a moment. How exactly was Brandon going to react to what he was going to tell him? Would he even believe Phenex? He decided to go a head and tell him anyway, even if it sounded crazy. "For what man? Is something wrong?" His friend asked once again, Phenex nodded clearing his throat before he spoke again. "Um, I heard my mom again this morning." Phenex looked over at Brandon, who now looked even more empathetic towards him. "I'm sorry man, she was so great. I know you miss her, everyone does but I don't think she would want you to mourn over her all the time. She'd want you to be happy, just like she said she wanted for you." Phenex sighed, it was hard for him to let her go even three years later. "But there is something else too.." Phenex added, he understood where Brandon was coming from but he wasn't sure if Brandon was going to understand him. "Something happened to me today when I hugged Liz." Phenex shook his head, he was trying to make sense if it all before even beginning to speak about it. "What you got a boner? That's normal for you." Brandon stated with a chuckle, but as soon as he realized Phenex wasn't laughing he stopped. "What do you mean? Like something bad?" Phenex shook his head once again, he wasn't sure if it was something bad or if it was just all in his head. "Well it's like when we touched, I saw something." Phenex stopped, rephrasing his sentence. "I heard something, what I saw I couldn't make sense of. I just know I heard growling, and it sounded so familiar. Like I had heard it before, in a dream maybe?" Phenex didnt lose eyecontact with Brandon, though Brandon had looked away a few time in confusion. Phenex figured he was just as confused as him, he sighed to him. "Brandon?" Phenex asked, wanting him to say something, anything would work at this point. Brandon and Phenex had been through a lot together, and they were always there to support one another through anything and everything. "A growl?" Brandon raised a brow, curious aboutwhat it might be that Phenex was hearing. "Did it sound like an animal?" He questioned Phenex, who was quick to respond. "No not at all, it sounded almost inhuman." Phenex stated, he wanted to know why It was Elizabeth that caused it to come back, something he must have had hidden in the back of the obese he called a mind. His grandmother used to ramble about evil spirits when he was younger, now she was sitting in a mental hospital and he labels her as crazy and rarely ever speaks of her or too her. Now he knew what she was talking about, and he had to find her. "Inhuman? What? Are you trying to tell me you're haunted or something?" Phenex was actually started to get angry with Brandon, for making nothing but a joke out of the situation. He could feel is blood boiling, why am I not able to calm myself down? He pondered, looking over at Brandon he took in a deep breathe. "No, but will you come with me to see my grandmother?" Phenex asked, wanting him to be the one to go with him on this journey.
