"Alright so, what do you want me to do?" Brandon's voice was mellow, as if he was trying his best to stay calm for Phenex who was laying flat on his bed. He was going to listen to what his grandmother had told him to do, he was going to travel far into his dreams and find all the answers to his questions that he seeked. "I don't know, just stay here? I'm not sure what's going to happen, but if anything goes wrong I want you to be the one to help me." Phenex stated, he tried to reassure his friend not wanting him to sit there and worry while Phenex was already scared half to death. He wasnt sure what he was supposed to be searching for but whatever it was he was going to try his best to make sure he found his way, hopefully the phrase 'curiosity killed the cat' wasnt in motion here. "Okay so, what if your dad comes home? What do I tell him?" Brandon was always the one to think ahead, but Phenex knew he wouldn't be coming home. "Its Tuesday, he never comes home. So you dont have to worry about it, but just incase turn on the Xbox and start a game, but dont forget you have to make sure I dont like, not wake up or something." Phenex wasnt sure if that was a possibility but he was hoping it wasnt one, Brandon nodded and walked over to the gaming console and turned on; that was the last thing Phenex saw before he closed his eyes, he could hear Brandon pressing the buttons on the controller. The little clicking sounds slowly faded as he feel into a deep slumber, the male felt as if he was drowning in darkness.

He couldn't see a thing in the room he was assuming he was in, Phenex took in a deep breath. "Travel, alright so.." He licked his lips nervously as he took a step forward, only to find out there wasn't one for him to take. Now Phenex was falling, fast. He was more than terrified, WHY DID HE DO THIS. WHY DID HE HAVE TO LISTEN. As he was falling just waiting to hit the ground, or whatever his mind put there, he screamed. He screamed for his life, something he had never done before nor did he think he'd ever do. He placed his hands across his chest, wanting to calm himself down thinking that imagining it away would work; since this all was in his HEAD. Suddenly the wind from falling stopped, and Phenex was floating. He dropped his arms to his side but quickly flinched, as a delicate like fabric tickle the backs of his arms. He decided to examine what it might be, reaching to his back with his right arm he felt, "Feathers?" He traced them from top to bottom with his fingers, them ever so gently touching the feathers. As he traced them he drew a picture in his mind of what the must look like, they were differently wings. "Alright, lets try flying." Phenex took in a breathe trying to figure out a way to fly up, surprisingly it was quite easy for him. He wasn't sure how far he had fallen, as he flew up he didnt realize how fast he was going, until he zoomed past a glowing light. "Woah!" Phenex lowered himself to the light, once he was insight of the light he hovered for a moment; pondering on what the light just might be. Gliding closer to it he saw a mirror, something he didn't expect. He hovered around it only to find that it was a normal mirror, he placed his feet onto the ground as he stood in front of it. He frowned his eyebrows, not sure what the mirror was supposed to behold. "Is there an on switch? What is this Phenex?" He figured to ask himself, since thinking of things seemed to work.

"There is no on switch, Phenex." A mellifluous voice spoke from above, it was the light he saw. "Um, okay. Than what am I supposed to do with this mirror?" He stopped himself from questioning what the light must be, this question itched at him for a moment. After he thought for a brief second glowing words on the mirror appeared, Phenex's eyes widened at the words. "Its a date? May 14th, 1996. That's my birthday, but wh---" his words stopped when the mirror changed, there was his mother and father. They were in the hospital waiting for Phenex to be born, but something was wrong. "Step inside, find out what secrets the Graham family hides from you." Phenex narrowed his brows at the glowing orb, confused by what the voice was saying to him. HIS FAMILY? KEEPING SECRETS FROM HIM, BUT WHY? The brunette took in a deep breath as he gently put his hand through the mirror, surprised to feel cold crisp air on the other side. He appeared right next to his mother as she layed in the hospital bed, his father sitting next to her holding her hand. It was a happy canon moment, before all the chaos had begun in their family. The oak door swung open and a dark male walked through, he looked like he was the doctor who would be taking care of his pregnant mother; but he didnt have the look of joy on his face, something was wrong. "So we have found something, its nothing bad its just rare for anything like this to happen.." The doctor trialled off, his parents looked disturbed. "Is he okay doctor? Is out son okay?" Phenex's mother placed her hand gently onto her enlarged stomach, slowly sliding her palm back and forth, worried. "Yes, your baby is fine. There is nothing wrong there, its just you'll be having twins Mrs. Graham." The room was cloaked with a deep silence, TWINS? IM A TWIN? BUT HOW, I DONT HAVE A BROTHER? "I'm sorry what? How is the even possible?" Phenex's father Marshall was beyond confused, but his mother had a sweet smile on her face. "Marshall isn't this just wonderful news? Don't question the doctor sweetie, we should be overjoyed. Are they the same sex?" Aurora questioned with the same smile dancing along her lips, seeing the doctor shake his no, her smile got a bit brighter. "Also we're going to induce you soon, so be prepared the nurse will be here shortly." Those were the doctors last words as he exited the room, Marshall looked over at his wife with a concerned look. "Are you sure we can handle two or them?" He let out a small safety chuckle, just like he always did when he thought he was saying something wrong. "I'm sure, this happened to my mother too. I've been prepared for this my entire life, I couldnt be happier than I am right now." Faster than he was able to process he was back looking at himself in the mirror, the glowing orb still hovering next to him. "I have a twin sister?" His voice was hesitant almost like he was shocked, but he didnt feel shocked, he felt lied to, like his whole life was a lie. "I want to wake up now. I dont want to know anything else, ive already seen too much." Phenex was hurt, why would his dad keep something like that from him? Where was his sister, why didnt they get to grow up together? "You will get hurt in learning about your past Phenex, they took those memories from you but you will get them back soon." THIS FUCKING ORB IS GETTING ANNOYING I WANT TO PUNCH IT, I DONT WANT TO KNOW ANY OF THIS. Phenex was getting angry, it was the only emotion he knew how to process correctly. "Is this mirror going to show me anything else or am I just wasting my time?" His voice was laced with aggravation, after he said those few words the mirror vanished. "Well fuck." A loud growl rose causing the ground to shake, Phenex knew that sound more than he had hoped to remember. "How do I wake up? I dont want to be here anymore, I want to got back home!" Phenex placed his hands on the back of his head, he didnt want to die in his own head, it was awful in here. "I want to go home, I want to go home!" He wasn't sure how else to react, the beast scared the living hell out of him and he wasnt about to have an encounter with him again anytime soon. He knelt down closing his eyes repeating himself, the boy began to scream on the top of his lungs. "I WANT TO GO HOME, GET ME OUT OF HERE." His screams stopped at the sound of his mothers humming, the brunette lifted from his knees and looked around the room. It was just how he remembered, the smell of pancakes and strawberries filled the air.

Phenex took in a deep inhale of the aroma he missed so dearly, clashing of pans being washed in the sink gently overshadowed his mothers sweet humming. Phenex wiped his tears away and walked into the kitchen of his summer home, she was wearing her red apron like she always did. It was her favorite one, she had it special made by Phenex and his father or at least its what he remembered. "Phenex! Felicity! Breakfast is ready my loves!" His mothers voice rang like bells, as the sound of rushing footsteps come to. "Mom Felicity wont stop poking me with her doll, please tell her to stop." Phenex watched himself speak, but had no remembrance of ever saying the name 'Felicity' in his life, nor did he remember meeting one. "Oh sweetie, sit and eat your breakfast. You know she loves bugging you, and I know you love bugging her. You both love each other, so be kind my little warrior." She placed a soft kiss onto the toddlers forehead, causing a smile to appear onto his face. "Felicity? Now where could my little fox be? Hm, is she here?!" Aurora happily looked around the corner only to find her daughter hiding in a princess gown, when she turned the corner and found the girl, it caused her to giggle frantically. She than picked her up and brought her to her seat, tickling her all the way to it. "Now eat your breakfast, its the most important meal of the day you know!" Aurora couldn't get the smile off of her face, it made Phenex happy to see her this way. His eyes than finally traveled to his twin sister, she didnt look at all familiar and it made him very upset. He would have wanted to know his sister or at least remember, he wanted to go back home and yell at his father but he knew it wouldn't fix anything. His mother was still gone and he had no idea if his sister was dead or alive, but he still hadn't got the answer to his question...

Alright so!!! Sorry it took me so long to get this chapter up, life has been chaotic but I was able to make it longer than the others !!! Thank goodness lol, but yes okay any feedback would be wonderful!! Feedback lets me know to keep going, but I dont want to be one of those people that's like "give me ten votes and I'll update" lol no, I should have to force you to do anything of the sorts, even comments make me happy lol I dont really mind much for the votes. I love seeing the read count go up along with everything else, but if you guys have any questions or concerns or just want to voice your opinion you always can!!
