Hello! Bones here to inform you of some of the differences this book has relative to cannon Undertale (made by Toby Fox). This can be skipped and you can head right on into the next chapter if you want but I think reading this will help you get your boundaries in relation to the story as it progresses.
1: Gaster is currently the royal scientist with Alphys as his pupil.
2: Gaster is the eldest brother to the skeleton brothers (I can't remember his relationship to them in the original Void Heart).
3: All characters in this (with the exception of monster kid and other younger monsters) are depicted as at least 20 (the reader is depicted within her early 20s).
4: Frisk has not fallen into the underground yet.
I think that's it, everything is pretty much accurate to canon if not slightly altered for easier storytelling!
