Jonathan works as the head of security for the pharmaceutical corporation, Essence Industries. Their aim to improve the human lifespan, continuation of disease research, and cure manufacturing. Jonathan's grandmother had passed from pancreatic cancer which could usually only be caught at around stage four. By that time she had less than six months left, he had accepted a job at Essence Industries during this period. The legal and medical processes were completed and blood samples were allowed to be taken in hopes of adding to the research of this cancer in hopes for a future cure. While Jonathan wasn't a scientist, he did formerly work for private security in terms of a PMC for in state security. This experience allowed him to quickly rise up as the security chief for Essence Industries at their HQ in Bremerton, Washington. Here he has lived a fairly comfortable life though a lonely one until he adopted Dakota.
Dakota brought back this light into his world that was missing for so long. Sure he was good at his job but had no one to share his home with, Dakota helped filled that gap as his coworkers and CEO friend saw he got happier with her in his life. Now that both he and Dakota have been exposed to an untested and unfinished vaccine, they'll face new challenges in life. Things will change permanently and possibly for the better but not without hardships. Love will grow in this new family, this new "pack." These challenges will decide if this gap filled with happiness will overflow or empty out entirely.
