Chapter 26

Once we finished eating we all dispersed and got ready for the day. I walked to my room and knocked.
"Come in" Shigaraki replied. I went in and he was getting ready to take a shower.
"Wanna shower together?" I asked. He froze in place.
"Forreal?" He looked over at me and I nodded "YES" he ran over to me and pulled me closer "of course" he leaned in.

"Ew gross" dad walked in with mum.
"Shush, they're cute" mum smiled.
"Well I just wanted to let you know that I'm going back now" dad walked over to me.
"Seriously?" I looked up at him "already?"
"Yep" he nodded. He hugged me tightly "I'm so proud of you sweetie" we rocked from side to side "you've achieved so much and I'm so happy for you, I love you so much Y/n" tears started forming in my eyes.
"I love you too dad" I sniffed.
"Oh don't cry" dad pulled back and looked at my face.
"I'll miss you again" I buried my face in his chest.
"I'll miss you too" he hugged me again "but I can get out early with good behaviour"
"How early?" I asked.
"Instead of 25, it can be 20 or 15" the tears fell harder "I know it's long and I'm sorry"
"Its fine" I sniffed "we'll come visit every Sunday until you're out and we'll always call to make sure you're ok"
"Thank you honey" he kissed my forehead and looked at Shigaraki behind me "come here"

Shigaraki walked over to him and dad hugged him. Shigaraki froze then slowly hugged back.
"Thank you for taking care of my baby for me" dad said.
"N-no problem" Shigaraki said.
"Promise that you won't hurt her" dad pulled back and held eye contact with him.
"I promise" Shigaraki said.
"Great" dad smiled "see you tomorrow guys" dad turned around and mum was standing by the door with tears running down her face "oh I'm sorry my love" dad hugged her.
"You better be on your best behaviour in there" she sniffed.
"I will" dad kissed her cheek. There was a honk from outside "I have to go now, I love you, so much, more than life itself"
"I love you too" mum kissed him. Dad froze then smiled. He disappeared down the hall. I ran to the balcony and watched him get into the car and it drive away.

I feel down to my knees as I watched the car disappear down the street.
"Its going to be fine" mum sat next to me. We looked back at each other and broke down into tears. Shigaraki stood there unaware of what to do.
"I-I'll be right back" he ran out of the room.
"M-mum I want him back" I sniffed.
"We all do sweetie" mum hugged me as she silently cried. Tjay busted into the room followed by Shigaraki.
"Oh my" he saw us on the ground "what happened?" He sat next to us and pulled us into a hug.
"Uh your dad left and they watched him drive away then that happened" Shigaraki said.
"Oh" Tjay held us tighter as we cried together.

After a few minutes, the tears stopped.
"How are you feeling now?" Tjay rubbed my back.
"Better" I wiped my tears. We both looked over at mum. She was weakly smiling at us "mum what are you-"
"I'm getting him out" she stood up and walked back into the room.
"What do you mean?" We rushed to follow her.
"Y/n what is my job?" Mum asked.
"You're a lawyer..." I said.
"Exactly, I'm getting my husband out of jail" age put up her hair "or at least lowering the jail time"
"Try the legal way first" Shigaraki said "if that doesn't work then I'll get the league to help you the illegal way"
"Thank you dear" she kissed his cheek then mine and Tjay's "I'm going home now" she left the room.

The 3 of us stood there in silence.
"Wait so I know you didn't just offer to-"
"Well this is when I leave" Tjay said "bye guys" he left the room and closed the door behind him. I looked back at Shigaraki. He walked over to me.
"I'm sorry my love-"
"Why are you apologising?" I stopped him "THANK YOU" I jumped on him.
"Huh?" He smiled and caught me.
"You made such a great impression on my dad and you're going to help my ma get him out, even though I could just do it but its fine"
"Oh that's fine"
"I love you so much" I peaked his lips.
"I love you too" he blushed.
"Ok now let's go shower" I got off of him "oh my I know my eyes are so red right now" I laughed.
"You look high af" Shigaraki laughed and followed me into the bathroom.
"Shush man" I playfully pushed him.
