Chase hesitated as he walked into the hole he created and sealed it back up,  letting in as less water as possible. He hears a small bang and guessed it was the team breaking through the second door.

He heard screaming and shouting and a distinct 'We have you surrounded!' Chase acknowledged they had taken down the bad guys and his only job was to rescue the hostages and lead them to safety.

Chase walked through the a small door which led to a room that was dark and large. It had a terrible smell that Chase could not seem to shake off. 

He heard some inaudible talking and crying.

Chase used his great ears to listen,

"I told you, you're the last one, they're here now anyway, I'm going to have to kill you." Chase heard the random voice say.

"No, P-please Leo, I won't say anything, just give the dying one the cure I don't mind if I get killed. It was Skye! Chase rushed in and blinded Leo, poking his eyes with his outstretched claws, pure blood in his eyes, Nobody was going to hurt Skye.

"Don't worry Skye, you're getting out of here" Chase reassured.

 Leo spat blood. "Aww, how cute your boyfriend came to the save the day." He mocked, a slight madness growing in his eyes.

Chase and Leo circled each other ready to fight to the death. Although Chase had never fought before, his ancestry was on his side, German Shepherds were bigger than Shiba Inu's and had larger teeth.

Leo lunged first, his teeth digging into Chase's still wet fur. Chase slapped him off and he fell on the floor with a loud thud, Chase was waiting for him to tire himself out, but he wouldn't attack.

Just as Chase momentarily took his eye off to look for Skye, Leo got up and clawed him heavily and Chase was the one to crash down onto the floor blood staining his once handsome face. Leo jumped on Chase punching him several times, Chase tried resisting but to no avail, Leo hit him EVERY. SINGLE. TIME. 

Leo turned to Skye with full confidence. "What a shame, he couldn't save you, how pathetic." He seemed to pause, catching his breath.

"You and your pathetic boyfriend are gonna die." He looked around his little suit. Skye's face braced herself ready for whatever happened next, she still couldn't see too well in the dark but noticed that Leo couldn't find something.

"Where is my..." Leo started but his eyes widened and he turned around

"Gun!" Chase shouted sprawling forward as he shot the gun at Leo's paw making him scream in agony, he dropped it quickly and dashed into Leo, claws and teeth bared, knocking him to the floor as he tore into his skin.

Leo stumbled to his face still in shock and pain ready to pounce for whatever dignity was left. But Chase was too fast, he knocked his knee into his jaw. He curled his fist into a ball and brought the other dog down with such force that he heard a vicious crack from his nose.

"Ruff! Net," Chase shouted as he wrapped the bloody Shiba Inu into his powerful, black net. Skye just watched and felt her mouth twitch. 

"Chase spoke into his walkie-talkie.

"Look I need a medic and some thing that can break multiple cages.

*silence*

"Come in!" Chase was practically shouting now, he couldn't leave Skye to die and all these other bodies never to be returned. 

"Ruff, Torchlight" Chase said. and he looked around, he soon found a light and slammed his paw on it.

"Ruff" Chase shouted once again and his torchlight flew back into his pup pack. He continued to look around again and found a switch,

 OPEN ALL CAGES

Chase ran to Skye's cage and Skye met him halfway as they embraced in a hug that seemed to go on for 5 minutes. 

Skye was breathless, "You were wonderf-" 

Chase smiled but interrupted "We need to get out and then you can complement me."

They ran out of the room leaving Leo helplessly laying on the floor, stuck in Chase's net, but he wasn't gonna move anyway he was already dying from the poisonous gas that had been released through the front door that Chase and Skye had just passed through.

 Everybody else was already dead. 

Chase stopped by a map and noticed multiple dead bodies sprawled across the floor. His eyes widened and he noticed the red alert sign.

"Skye.. block your nose, Everyone's dead because of poison." Chase yelled to Skye who came around the corner

Her eyebrows were raised in a shocked fashion as she mumbled as loudly as she could, "There is another exit over here, on the North side of the ship."

"Yeah, let's go, That's the one we came through, I know the way." Chase breathed.

They ran far as fast as they could, but Skye could not keep up.

"Hop on my back!" he shouted, Skye jumped up and held on tight digging into his soft fur.

"It's up ahead," Chase half-shouted, there isn't much left to go."

He sped down the submarine and  shook Skye off. He had a plan.

"Skye, when I came here earlier, I cut a hole through the submarine and got in, we need to push it out and use it as a raft to safety." Chase wheezed.

They pushed and pushed but nothing had happened slowly, they heard a creaking noise and it slowly started to give way, falling onto the ocean of Barkingburg.

"Come on, It's The only way!" Chase yelled

It fell and was going quickly but Chase had a run up and jumped, grabbing Skye at the last second. Chase threw her onto the small platform as he slammed hard into the side with a deafening cracking noise.

Skye pulled as hard as she could but couldn't pull his weight. She dug her claws into the underside of his forearm and pulled him up. He slowly winced and climbed up.

"Thank you Skye. Chase smiled and grabbed her paw, Y'know I've liked you for quite a while now but I never had the guts to say it." 

Skye was on the verge of tears "No! Chase You'll live, I-I swear by it." 

It was already too late, the poison had made it's way through Chase's gashes on his head and chest and they were stranded far at sea. 

"Tell Ryder and the pups that I-" Chase started but fell unconscious. 

They were all by themselves, Stranded at sea.
