You were relaxing on a bench outside, absentmindedly doodling and taking in the sun when out of the corner of your eye you see Augie Doggie approaching you. Doggie Daddy is trailing behind her, as his protective nature means he is almost never away from his daughter. You hadn't really gotten to know either of them that well yet, but you've seen them around enough to know their names, and they were the same with you.

"Are you drawing pictures?" Augie asks you. You only nod, not expecting anybody to talk to you today. "Can I see them?" You pause for a moment before answering, "Sure!" You withdraw your pencil from your sketchbook place it behind your ear, and hand the book to her. Her eyes light up as she looks at what you've drawn, as well as flipping to other pages to see all the other pictures. She then hands it back to you and asks, "Can you show me how to draw?"

The question catches you off guard. You take a moment to process the question. You glance at Doggie Daddy, who you know has the final say. "May I?" You ask him. He smiles, glad that you've accepted his daughter's offer. "Go on ahead!" He playfully pats Augie, saying, "My little girl's gonna be an artist!" Augie sits down on the bench and Doggie Daddy follows. It perfectly fits the three of you. You tear out a page from your sketchbook and place it on top of the book and give it back to her, handing her your pencil as well.

Teaching her how to draw various things comes a lot easier to you than you initially thought, and both Doggies are enthralled with what's happening. Doggie Daddy finds slowly himself more and more enamored with you, cooperating so easily and being so nice. He admires the way you teach and explain things and the patience you have with it. He never takes a moment to think about it, as he hasn't felt these feelings for someone in way longer than he can remember, but it begins to develop over the course of this sunny afternoon.

Once you wrap up, and the page is filled with various drawings, Augie holds the paper up to her dad. "Look!" "Oh, I'm so proud of you, Augie! I'm hanging this up on the fridge as soon as we get home!" They smile at each other. Then Doggie Daddy stands up and turns to you. "Thank you so much for showing my daughter this, even though you didn't have to. I really appreciate it." You shoot him a friendly smile. "It's no trouble at all. It was quite fun, actually!"

"I know we've seen each other around town and such, but I want to meet you formally. I'm Doggie Daddy." He extends his paw out to you. You stand up and shake hands with him. "I'm (y/n)." "Well, (y/n), we were just about to head out for some food, if you'd like to join us." These Doggies are good at catching you off guard, but you smile again and nod. "I'd love to! Let me see how much I have on me-" "No, no, don't worry about it. It's on the house, as a thank you." "You already thanked me!" "I'll thank you twenty times if I have to!" You both start laughing, and you follow his lead as he takes you and his daughter out for food.
