MATED TO THE ALPHA

Chapter Five

Marianna's POV

Immediately the Alpha opened the door i almost fell, Mari what a good way to embarrass yourself in front of the Alpha.

I acted as if i was straightening my shirt to avoid looking at him, i knew i should have left when my mind was telling me to go but my stubborn self decided to stay i'm such a fool. Arrgh .

Now I have to face the consequences, here goes nothing.

"What are you doing here" the Alpha asked,

As soon as i heard the Alpha's angry voice i shivered and couldn't say anything so I kept quiet,

"I will not ask again what the hell are you doing here Marianna"

"I was looking for you" i formed a lie which was the most stupid lie to ever create

He dragged me by the arm to his office and pushed me inside closing the door behind him, he pulled his bloody shirt on and put another one that was arranged for him. Damn he is hot as hell

"Marianna i know you are lying, you are so bad at it so now tell me why you were there" his voice snapped me out of my stupid thought.

I took in a deep breath before speaking the truth

"Alpha i went to take water from the kitchen then I heard a scream so i followed the scream then i stopped at the basement door, but Alpha i swear i wanted to leave,my mind was telling me to go but my stubborn self decided to stay, I am sorry for eavesdropping". I said while bowing my head down to avoid looking at him

" Marianna look at me" he said in a calmly way

I raised my head to look at him to avoid making him more angry.

"Marianna do you know how much trouble you are in just because you couldn't mind your damn business"

I didn't answer

"Answer me, don't make me repeat myself you know i hate it"

"I know i am in trouble once again i am sor-

" Don't sorry me, keep your sorry to yourself, i will let you go i won't punish but the next time this incident happens you will be the one screaming out of pain in the basement, am i clear?".

"Yes Alpha". I said,i was kinda hurt so i stood up to leave but was stopped by his voice

" Stop where do you think you are going,did i dismiss you sit your ass back on the chair"

I sat on the chair and waited for him to say whatever he needed to say.

"Listen Marianna, i know you have seen and know a lot of things in this pack but what you just witnessed or heard should be between us, am i clear?"

"Yes Alpha"

"You can leave"

I stood up, heading towards the door i heard the Alpha say,

"Goodnight Marianna"

"Goodnight Alpha"
