Chapter Two: The Four Signs

A few hours later, Espio was getting ready with date with Amy the next day, freaking out abiut everything.

Espio: [Freaking out] Come on, Gruff! I still need to pick out something nice to wear, I need to get everything organized, and I need to make sure we can go somewhere private so nobody can bother us!

Gruff: Don't stress out too much, kid. You got this in the bag! Your gonna win the girl over around then you guys will make out and have kids!

Espio: Don't go that far yet, Gruff.

Vector: [Him and Charmy walk into Espio's room as Gruff hides] Hey Espio! Can we...

Espio: Thank goodness you guys are here! [He grabs onto Vector and Charmy] I need some help around here! I need to get ready for my date with Amy, so I need you two to clean up the headquarters!

Charmy: [Annoyed] Clean up?

Espio: [Pushes Vector and Charmy out of his room] You guys do a great job! [He closes the door on them. Vector walks away, but Charmy pulls him back]

Vector: What gives?

Charmy: [Scared] The first sign!

Vector: What are you talking about?

Charmy: [Scared] Remember what Tails said? Sign number one was that Espio would be way too hardworking!

Random Announcer: Sign number one, they'll be way too hardworking.

Vector: But Espio's always hardworking.

Charmy: [Scared] Sure, but I don't know if he's always that hardworking!

Vector: Let's just keep an eye out for the other three signs, okay?

Charmy: Okay. Let's just start cleaning up before Espio talks to us about responsibility again.

Cut to after Vector and Charmy were done cleaning up the headquarters.

Vector: [Was relaxing on the couch] That was a lot of hard work.

Charmy: I know. I'm so hot that not even a blizzard will be able to cool me off.

Vector: Do you really think that Espio is gonna leave us when he goes out with Amy?

Charmy: I sure hope not. I just hope we don't see the other three signs.

Vector: Well maybe we should make him lighten up a little.

Charmy: Yeah! Maybe he would wanna play a board game with us! How about Monopoly?

Vector: Sounds like a good idea, Charmy. [Vector grabs the Monopoly box and they run over to Espio] Hey Espio.

Espio: Hey guys.

Charmy: Do you think that we did a good job cleaning the headquarters?

Espio: I gotta admit, you did do a better job than last time you tried to clean the headquarters.

Charmy: Thanks!

Vector: Anyway, would you like to play Monopoly with us?

Espio: Sorry guys, not tonight. I have my date with Amy tomorrow and I wanna make sure that I get enough sleep, so I think I'm just gonna turn in for the night.

Vector and Charmy: Oh...

Espio: Maybe some other time, okay? [Vector and Charmy nod] Well, goodnight. [Walks into his room]

Charmy: [Scared] Oh no! That's the second sign! Espio won't have time to hang out with us anymore!

Random Announcer: Sign number two, they won't have time to hang out with their friends anymore.

Charmy: [Scared] This is worse than I thought, Vector!

Vector: Stay calm, Charmy. That's still only two of the four signs. Maybe their just concidences.

Charmy: [Calms down a little] You're right, Vector. [Yawns] Maybe we should also head to bed. [They both turn in for the night]

Cut to the next morning. Espio and Amy were talking about the date.

Espio: I'm very excited about our date tonight, Amy.

Amy: Me too. I just hope that the rest of the team doesn't try to bother us or Infinite corrupts another innocent mobian.

Espio: I'm sure everything will be just fine. [They kept on talking, unaware that Vector and Charmy were watching them]

Charmy: [Scared] No! That's the third sign! He's gonna start hanging out with Amy way more than he'll hang out us!

Random Announcer: Sign number three, they'll hang out with the boy or girl way more than they'll hang out with their own friends.

Vector: Don't be silly, Charmy. I'm sure they're just...

Charmy: [Scared] They're not just concidences! [Pictures start playing in his head] Espio and Amy are gonna start dating after the first date, Espio's gonna leave Team Chaotix forever, him and Amy are gonna move far away from Station Square and he'll forget about us and we'll never get to see him again!!! [He starts crying, but then toughens up ten seconds later] We need a plan to stop Espio and Amy!

Vector: Uh...

Charmy: We'll follow them to the beach and we'll spying on them. And when they're about to kiss, we'll reveal ourselves and save Espio! Do you get it?

Vector: Not really.

Charmy: Well, we'll talk about everything once the plan moves foward!
