Alex's POV
I say "told you I'd do it, fools" raising an eyebrow at Rian and Zack and Rian says "didn't think I'd ever live to see the day of Jack being a human and not just a shell." I say "I think he's getting it back together" quietly. Jack and Alana are just passing a bounce ball back and forth in the hallway after school and Jack says "no, the second one is the best" and Alana says "but the first is a classic!" Jack says "so is the second one!" Alana says "fuck you" and Jack says "fuck you, first is the worst, second is the best" bouncing the twenty five cent bounce ball back he got from one of those things in a grocery store lobby. I smile saying "what are you guys talking about?" Jack says "Home Alone" and Zack says "I think you actually did it" and I chuckle saying "oh stop" as Alana and Jack keep talking and arguing about Home Alone. I smile and Rian mumbles "I haven't seen him so passionate about anything in so long, it's a breathe of fresh air really." They just keep tossing the ball back and forth, doing weird tricks and laughing at each other. My mom comes out and says "what are you guys doing?" Jack says "which Home Alone is better, mom?" My mom says "it's the second one, obviously" and Alana says "I don't like you anymore" and my mom chuckles saying "you don't have to like me, none of ya have to like me" chuckling. May comes walking down the hallway saying "why are you guys still at school?" Mom goes back into her room and I say "why are you still here?" She says "hanging out to get a ride home from my mom" and I say "yeah and you put the hickeys there yourself too?" She says "shut up!" I laugh and I say "so, whats the tea, sister?" She says "just some guy I've been hanging out with" and Jack says "hanging out" sarcastically and I say "we hang out a lot" and she says "fine, we've been seeing each other." Jack says "ooo, so you went to second base too?" She says "maybe, ok, now shut up, I'm walking home" and I say "thought you needed a ride?" May says "I hate both of you" and Jack says "we know" and we chuckle and I say "I'm ready to meet this guy" and she says "you won't yet" and I say "I'm doubtful" chuckling. She rolls her eyes saying "love you guys, bye" and I say "love you too, bye" and they all say something around the same thing I said, 'love you too, bye.' She leaves and Alana says "that girl moves fast" and I say "I know, I don't get it" and Zack says "cause you both have dated the most stubborn person on this fucking planet." I say "he's not that stubborn, he's easier than he looks" and Jack flips me off saying "I'm not easy "and I say "no, I look easy but you're the one that's easy." Rian says "I'd believe that Jack is easy" and Zack says "me too, not a huge surprise" and Jack says "stop slut shaming me, I'm great" and we chuckle. I say "I'm gonna get you a tee shirt that says that, stop slut shaming me, I'm great" and we laugh our asses off. This guy casually walks down the hallway and I say "so you're the guy?" He says "I am not connecting" and I say "you will eventually" and he says "you're weird, man" chuckling and we all chuckle and I say "what else is new? I knew that already, sister" and we chuckle and he leaves and Alana says "damn, she scored, he's hot as hell." I say "eh, he was alright" and she says "he had nice eyes, come on" and I say "I can get on bored with that but no developing feelings for Mays one time thing" and Jack says "she said they went to second base though." I say "Jack, babe, honey, love, you went right from bat to second base with people weekly for a while, it doesn't mean shit till you get to third" and we all chuckle and Jack says "I guess you're right." I say "not you guess, I am right" chuckle and he says "whatever" and I say "whatever" mocking him. Alana says "I have to go home, mom wants me there" yawning and she says "see you guys tomorrow" smiling and I stand up and I hug her saying "bye" and she smiles saying "bye, honey" and pats my back then she leaves. I say "I'm gonna go home, Jack, you coming with me, pretty boy?" Jack nods and says "see you later, guys" smiling and Rian and Zack nod at us and Rian says "I'll see you guys later" and Zack says "tomorrow, Rian, tomorrow" and Rian says "that's later, Zack" rolling his eyes and we chuckle. Jack says "I need to talk to my mom" and I say "I'm gonna go talk to my mom, you do that" and he smiles then we go our separate ways. I say "hey" when I get to my moms door and she says "yo, what's up?" I say "Jack and I are going to the house, see you and Paris tonight?" Paris is my moms girlfriend, the girl that she started talking to around when Jack and I started talking, so at this point they're more of long term girlfriends but we don't need the specificities. Mom says "alright, yeah, we'll be there, were going out to dinner though, we won't be there till late" and I say "fine by us, I'll see you later, love you" and she says "love you too" and Jack and I meet back up then we go home. Jack and I slowly walk and he says "what's on your mind, princess?" I say "I'm gonna say something Ive never said to you before" and he says "what is it?" I say "I love you" and Jack says "I love you too, Lex" turning to me to kiss me passionately.
