New Jersey Turnpike Northbound
Ken: *driving*
Steven: Nothing can happen now. We'll be back in Connecticut, soon. What could possibly go wrong?
Ken: *slows down due to congested traffic*
Steven: I had to ask!
Ken: *drives very little as traffic is backed up for miles*
Steven: *sighs heavily* Me and my big mouth......
Brandon: Dude, chill out.
Drivers: *at a standstill on the northbound side of the turnpike, while there is no traffic on the southbound side*
Steven: *growls in frustration*
Kyle: Knock it off!
Time skip.......
Traffic moves along, but not a great deal. But, Ken has a plan B!
Ken: Gonna have to take this exit to the Garden State Parkway!
Sign: Garden State Parkway Woodbridge
Sign: Service area 3 miles
Ken: *takes the exit to the Garden State Parkway, pays the toll, and drives on the Garden State Parkway north* There!
Steven: You're going the wrong way!
Ken: Steven, chill out! I know what I'm doing, thank you! *driving*
Steven: We'll never get home, now! *starts crying*
Brandon: Aw, come on!
Steven: *crying hysterically*
Me: Stop crying!
Iris: Stop crying!
Steven: *still crying hysterically*
Ken: Steven, cut out that crying! You hear me?!
Steven: *still crying hysterically*
Kyle: Dude, come on!
Emma: Stop that crying!
Steven: *still crying hysterically*
Ken: Guys, tune him out! Listen to your music! *turns the volume up on the radio to mute out Steven's hysterical crying*
Steven: *still crying hysterically over the loud music*
All Of Us: *not hearing Steven cry and listening music on our phones*
Radio: *plays Not Just Knee Deep by Funkadellic*
SkittishReflections: *driving behind us* Looks like Ken knows a shortcut! That traffic was backed up!
Matilda: Exactly!
Nathan: *snoring*
Frank: Yep!
Time skip.........
Service area in Montvale.... (Last service area in NJ)
Ken: Does anyone need to use the bathroom? This is the last time, we're stopping. We won't be making any more stops.
Me: I do. And, I am gonna get some Sbarro Pizza. *walks inside*
Matilda: Me too! *walks inside*
Steven: *eyes red and puffy from crying* I'm fine.
Ken: Go clean your face up, Steven. Hurry up.
Steven: *walks inside to the bathroom to clean his face up*
Everyone Else: *stretches their legs*
Ken: Almost in New York.
SkittishReflections: Yup. It'll feel good to be back home, again.
Ken: Indeed.
Frank: *walks inside to get Sbarro Pizza*
Time skip.......
Ken: *driving towards the NY state line*
Sign: New York State
Sign: Welcome To New York
Man: *driving a blue Dodge Ram with a New York license plate on it*
Time skip.......
Ken: *driving on the Tappan Zee Bridge*
Steven: *looks out at the Hudson River*
Radio: *playing Sir Duke by Stevie Wonder*
Stevie Wonder: *singing* You Can Feel It All Over! You Can Feel It All Over Baby!
Ken: *driving on Interstate 287*
Steven: How long are we gonna be in NY?
Ken: Not too long. We'll be in CT, soon! *driving*
Steven: Finally!
Sign: White Plains
Sign: Merrit Parkway
Ken: *driving*
Time skip.......
Ken: *takes the exit towards Interstate 95 north Connecticut Turnpike*
Steven: *sighs*
Sign: Connecticut Welcomes You!
Ken: We're finally in Connecticut, guys!!!
All Of Us: YAY WHOO HOO!!!!!
Steven: About time!!! This trip is now over!
Me: We still have a long way, before we get back in Middletown, stupid!
Steven: *Homer Simpson style* Doh!
Brandon: Yeah, we're in Greenwich.
Ken: *driving on Interstate 95 northbound through Greenwich* We'll be in Stamford, soon.
SkittishReflections: *driving behind us* Finally back in Connecticut!!
Matilda: Yay!
Nathan: About time. How far is it to Middletown?
SkittishReflections: *driving* Still got a ways to go. We're in Greenwich. We should be back home, within an hour or two.
